Anyone that is just starting out, best way to grow with a kit like this is to use it for what it is for a good bit, then piece by piece switch with an acoustic. Start using a snare with 4 e-pad toms. Add a bass drum then use the extra e-kick for other fun sounds with the left foot or other way around. Add a real hi hat in there then use the e-hats as another cymbal. Every acoustic piece you add with let you play with 2 new choices. Keeps going until you’ve found each individual piece of an acoustic set. At that point, can eliminate the e-kit,have a really fun hybrid setup, or the choice to still be quiet when needed. Just my tip! It really helps focus individually on the instruments without having to be overwhelmed with so many options at once.
