Paul VI, to who's name many insist on appending the title "Saint," promulgated the Novus Ordo Missae and expressed his desire that the whole world would accept and adopt it. He did NOT abrogate the old Mass. He only wanted the world to recognize the Novus Ordo as being so much nicer. It is reported that he took it very personally when not everyone did!

He is first place. Bergoglio claims merely to be implementing more fully the directives of Paul VI. There are also way fewer bicycle, clown, & pizza Masses now than under Paul VI.
