skillet is my favorite band ever :) and i wish he still did the growl at the beginning of whispers like he did on the comatose tour!!! :(

i saw them this april 1 it was an awesome performance i love this song
i'm not sure how legit john's voice is. It sounds way too good to be live. No other singer I've seen can sing that well. I think they're using the recording of John's voice in the chorus to help him out a little.

@XxDrummifiedxX Yeah, well I actually found out he has recordings of himself singing that they use in the background of both CDs and Live performances. With that said, it is meant for him to sing along with, so I wouldn't consider it "cheating".

@01skillet He normally sounds great live..But he told the crowd that he was getting over a cold so he doesn't sound his greatest..
Um the guitarist didn't mess up, it does that in the real song...

@a13x66 I seen them live in muscle shoals, and ths performance doesnt have anything against the one in mucle soals!!!! They had wicked pyro, and ten times more lights!!!!!!!!!!!!
@a13x66 none of the other bands were able to..halestorm was pretty good though..but skillet completely stole the show

@iBrickfilm Ben has really left man sorry to burst it fo you Ben was great in Skillet (check out Skillet on Facebook about there band members there new guitar player name is Seth Morrison)
Skillet does live performances very well, but in this video it sounds like he was losing his voice in the beginning, and so I wouldn't doubt if he had to have a little help from a recording to back up the chorus in this case. But, the live shows are what Skillet does best, and I'm pretty sure they don't do this all the time. John's voice doesn't naturally have as much "rattle" as it does in this video. I imagine it's because of all the singing, and screaming he had done prior to this song.
