There is an earthing wire on the pipe because it goes into the ground and that is where you want the power to go in the event of of a problem

Häfele is one of my biggest go to for everything can’t beat them. And they have 99% of stock in that I order

Pine veneer... never thought that'd even exist.

I could do with some decent hinges myself, unfortunetely the dutch Hafele site doesn't recognise the article code.

Those push in fittings are not meant to be used with copper pipes. They have small teeth inside of them to grip on to pex hoses nit onto copper. You need one that is a compression fitting with a brass ring around the copper pipe that is cramped down with a threaded ring onto a threaded fitting. You also need to put on teflon tape on the upper brass threads where the leak came from during the first two tries.

Every thing you just said is wrong! From a plumber

@@relaxreflect5888 well, since you're a plumber, rather than just saying "that's wrong", could you explain what's right?

@@nagranoth_those push fit fittings are fine to use on copper pipe, and the thread does not require PTFE tape 👍🏻

@@relaxreflect5888this is 100% correct. It states right on the package you can use them on copper pipes. Just make sure you clean any burrs off or you’ll nick the o-ring and have a leak.

Sorry to hear it! You’ll be pleased to know no swearing (or minimal swearing) happens on the main channel. But we’re quite a bit more lax on this channel as it’s more about the ‘Behind the Scenes’ aspect of what we do.
