Nice Troop hike and video. Makes me miss our troop outings. Do your hikes have themes? We used to have ones that helped the First Class Path such as cooking, map reading, or wilderness survival. When we wanted to do things with tools we'd have a campout on private land with permission to cut small trees. My old Army ponchos have disintegrated so, I tried a River Country one and was very happy with it. Later, they had a 10% off sale(down to $9) so I bought more and a backpack. Good Luck, Rick
These are memories these kids will keep with them forever. I got to watch you, Frozen and Freshground on the Foothills Trail all in one week.
Definitely. Maybe one day I will catch Freshground. In 2018 I started early and was already up the trail before Freshground started.
Scoutmaster! Thanks for always helping out with the Scouts! The Foothills Trail is a special place and great for training.
It is definitely a great place to train for trails like the AT

We have been focusing on cooking, camping, first aid, wilderness survival, personal fitness, hiking and backpacking merit badges.
Beautiful hiking weather
The videos don’t even come close. Beautiful weekend.
Where do you find these animals? The one you call Conner has a backpack that covers him from head to tail! Your scouts scare the heck outa me!
Lol. He is only 11. We got some good kids and strong ones too. Lots of training and work but it all pays off.
