I'm from Romania and I'll start by saying I love the Philippines. Lay is shy but that's also her charm, she's a beautiful and polite woman, I like her. Tom, congratulations, you hit it off with Lay.
Enjoying your content. Remembering the days my girlfriend (now my wife) and I wandered about Manila. We live in US, but can't wait to go back to Manila and my wife's province.
I have been watching you two since you met and started this page, I also was a subscriber to Tom's page for quite a while as well. I can honestly say that you two are a perfect match for each other. Lay is sort of quite but every once in a while she says something that really makes me laugh. She has a quick wit and wonderful sense of humor. Tom you are just a good man and I have seen a different side of you since you met Lay, different from your other page. It warmed my heart to see Lay praying, I am Catholic as well. Tom I am from Irish descent, my real name is Patrick and my family from Ireland were Dolan, Dougherty, Kane and a few more. They came to the US from Roscommon in the early 1800's.
Quiapo looks like it holds a lot of history. Your food looked excellent. I would love to try the Halo Halo. You two make excellent videos and are fun to watch. Are you in Quiapo early or in the afternoon. In my mind I picture the Philippines as very hot and humid. You two seem cool. Enjoy Tom and Lay.
When I had Halo halo for the first time last month... my first thought was that it tasted like something a stoner / weed smoker would invent 😅 It was delicious. It was at the top of my long list of foods / snacks to try in the Philippines during my visit.
What a beautiful Church Tom n Lay. Liza n I love looking inside the various churches near us on Camotes Island. I was in church at the 6am wedding of Liza's younger sister Edelyn and her marriage to Junrey last July at the church in San Francisco on Camotes Island. Your Halo Halo there is rather expensive guys. Liza sells her Halo Halo for P 49 for 12ounc & P59 for 16 once cups. Yes n Liza always puts Letche Flan in all the Halo Halo with the red n white n green jelly with white n brown beans with slice of banana and fresh combo of milk n her secret ingredient n Ube paste n Ube ice cream topped with corn flakes and will crushed ice
Tom, I've been a fan since Ireland and even before. Your vibe is that of a good friend--a mat, as you might say it.Your style is so easygoing and fun. I hope you keep it up! Lay, you are a great addition to the vlog. You and Tom compliment each other, and you seem to have gotten used to blogging. I wish you both many happy adventures together. I would love to run into you when I am in the Philippines later this year. Lay is also a bit of eye-candy, which never will hurt your ratings. Stay cool, you two.
Apparently the Pasig River is much cleaner than it used to be. So I imagine that when it was really dirty you didn't need the ferry because people could just walk across on top of the garbage and pollution.
It's obvious that Lay is a refined, well-educated young lady who has been brought up very well. Did she go to a finishing school for young ladies? I'm sure with her positive influence on you, you'll be a happy young man for a very long time. Meanwhile, the rest of us are all thinking "well maybe an LDR isn't such a bad idea after all, if only I could find someone as lovely as Lay." Congrats, you two love birds ❤️
Enjoyed this video. I’m Fil/Am and I don’t like the Filipino style spaghetti 😂. Palabok doesn’t taste like spaghetti. Halo halo is massive and overloaded! How the heck do you stir it?! You should try Razons halo halo. It only has banana, macapuno n leche flan toppings but it’s very good.
Sir Tom so so happy no fake and expensive hotels or food or etc? Thank goodness no support for a province familes too scam thank you lay!!! sir Tom is honest and happy. Let others get scam Thk you lay
@Tom & Lay hey guy's congratulations on hitting the 5k already.🙏🙏 Food looked good, but for Halo halo i don't really like it, coz of the crushed ice and jelly lol.. Always enjoy watching your vlogs.
whn i visit my family in cdo we are close to gisano mall and has a chowking inside so we eat there a lot and i always get halo halo there they offer a nice one and large portion
In the 1980 they would pack the ferry boat going from island to island that once a month one would sink. It was very sad but back then there was not alot of transportation
You're so brave to eat street food. That's what I like about your channel and when you explore the hidden not so popular neighborhoods. Just be careful.
i haven't seen vloggers try to capture the black nazarene's journey to the quipo church every february. coz i think that would make a great content. it is super intense you'd feel your heart rumble, literally. it doesn't matter if you're religious or not, just the intensity and the volume of devout people is super extreme and intense! and then the atiatihan in tondo is also intense.
Manila cathedral or the most famous is The church of Saint Augustine Or Simbahan Ng San Augustin. Get with the program lol Have a great time and take care always 🇵🇭🙏🇬🇧

Your blog is nice. Showing the true Filipino life outside of the fancy lifestyle of Manila

Another nice vlog - I like to see folks walking around, and eating, in other areas of Manila, outside of BGC & Makati.
Thanks 🙏

Awesome 👍 hi Tom & lay
Lay is such a shy lady.
As soon as they are in public, she shuts down.
But soo funny and open when she feels save.

Nice vlog seeing you Tom trying Filipina cuisine with Lae & touring different sites in Manila .

What kind of work did you do Tom? Does Lay work also? Or only RUclips videos for work now?
How about going outside of Manila? Take a Ferry to Cavite City, Gen Trias, and outside Metro. There are many historical places outside of Manila👍
Here is another interesting place : Corrigidor
Pls pls hydrate & wear sunscreen! Manila heat is insane 🥵 Enjoy you two!! ❤
👍👍👌👌
Nice
Thanks
❤❤❤
I remember that smell..and kids use to swim in that water....😮😮😮😮😮😮😮
😅
Eat balut or fishballs. Palabok is not to be sweet. Shrimp paste with fish flakes and chicharron, garlic and scallions. 😅
It was the transfer from luneta park to quiapo.
The black nazarene is just the meaning of the dark complexion of a native nazarean
How do like the jeepneys Tom even the multi cabs I used to bang my head and back on the roof and at the same time not tread on toes on and off
😅
at the other side is the Golden Mosque where Muslims pray especially on Fridays, the congregational prayer of Muslims
pa-LA'-bOk .Jolibee's is excellent
