So what tempo is this mid-tempo genre in?
It is just probably 'dark electronic music' or 'slow dubstep'? There really is no genre to put mid-tempo in, you may think of it as a genre itself. There is no one rule applied to all mid-tempo songs, you just have artists like Gesaffelstein, Revizia, Rezz or Formshift. Also, guy above made a huge mistake of labelling his song as a 'mid-tempo' whereas clearly it is dubstep. His song is too fast and has too many dubstep-like sounds in it, it is literally a dubstep song. If this guy were to slow this song by 1/4 or 1/2, then we could call it midtempo.

This still sounds like dubstep to me, I thought mid tempo is more like "owl vision - zepulchre" or "Le Castle Vania - LED Spirals". You really know what you are doing in FL Studio though.
Dubstep is at a different tempo.
Genres are defined by tempo, general sound, and drum patterns.
Dubstep is 140-150 bpm, typically have agressive bass, and has a half time drum pattern.
This is at 110 (?) bpm, and doesn't have a half time drum pattern

I was thinking the same thing. This sounds more like dubstep and riddim to me instead of mid-tempo. If you’re searching for some mid-tempo artists Rezz is definitely my top 1.
midtempo used to be dubstep but not halftime and slower but it got highjacked by producers like rezz who turned it into [cough] garbage [cough]

@@nsx2110 He WAS a dubstep producer in the beginning. Songs like Shut Me Down, Ghosts In The Dark, The Vortex etc. are still among some of my favourites to this day, and I second OP's idea.

I been makin dubstep forever but i only recently began to notice there were these dubstep songs that seemed different somehow so as i looked into it I discovered mid tempo lol. So now im gunna conquer me some mid tempo. And i dont even think Rezz is the best mid tempo. I really like the minimalist stuff like Zabo. We'll see where I land lol.

@@jaimed9224 honestly. If you look up all the more notable mid-tempo creators like Rezz, Blanke, 1788-L, etc, this sounds nothing like it. This is just regular dubstep, or, yeah, electro hop. It's real dumb.

Mid-Tempo (as a genre) is like Rezz's music. It's also like Porter Robinson's music. The 1st one is darker and the other is more melodic, but both are mid-tempo.
Now, Wubbix basically made dubstep at 110 bpm, but it's obviously not dubstep (because of tempo), so here's my question: what f*cking genre is it XD?
We know glitch hop is different (as wubbix said: glitchy with melodies).
Some possible answer is Moombahcore (yeah). It's like dubstep, but at 100 - 110 bpm (or even less/more). It's not like glitch hop (it doesn't have so many melodies), and it's not like mid-tempo (it isn't as dark/underground as rezz). But the problem is that nobody uses this term XD.
And nope, electro house's tempo is around 120 - 135 bpm, sorry :(

Nope,Complextro Have Other Bass Arrangment,you can comparise with the tracks Virtual Riot - With You (Complextro) and Barely Alive - Prepare To Die (Mid Tempo)
