Maybe Derek doesn't either or not able to put it in to words, but I often wonder how he is so capable. Keep posting, we'll be here to listen intently!
I remember in the episode of Mind Field Derek was in, Adam said if you ask Derek "how do you do that?" Derek says he has no idea. It seems like he just can, like if someone was to ask you how you learned to breathe.

I wonder if any professional musicians or musos can break down what he did there... I mean many of the flourishes and glissando type moves are probably automatic to him by now; did he really do anything special? I realize its just a 4/4 pop song but I somehow expected something better.
