    My bikes run about 15 degrees cooler on Engine Ice but the best thing you can do is have your bike tuned and the fans come on at a lower temp, especially if you live in a hot climate. Some bikes fans come on around 220f and a tuner can lower that to 195f. It was 103 in Oklahoma yesterday and my bike didn’t get above 199f at a stop

    I put Engine Ice coolant on my Ninja 300, no issues whatsoever - drove 500 miles in one day on my trip, 90F degree heat, bike was running smooth, no loss power, no overheating... this is a critical component for the bike - I don't care how expensive the coolant is, as well as the engine oil.... Ride Safe ✌️

    always follow your manufacturer recommendation, as for racing just use race coolant that is not slippery, non toxic, and has a good amount of lubricants and wetting agents to release heat as good if not better than 100% water.

    For me, it’s either Engine Ice or Water Wetter. I never thought to use Subaru coolant in my bike, I even own a Subaru & my BMs just got the new Forester Sport so it’s a multi use thing I guess lol still prefer to use the biodegradable stuff out water wetter for the track

    The best I have found for super hot weather is distilled water with a wetter in it. This will absolutely freeze in the cold though. So it must be flushed before your fist freeze.

    These vids are the best I've come across, but also the coolant being ethylene or prowhatever that could be in your users manual what you are supposed to put in it. For example my Suzuki swift clearly states in the user manual that you are to use ethylene based coolant. Now idk if it's as strict on motorcycles but yeah

    Just serviced my BMW K1300 as it was overheating. Triple flushed it and used Red OAT coolant (vs BMW coolant) that is silicate, nitrite free. Bike now runs cooler and the fan takes lo ger to kick in.

    • @Ghostsoulless

      Start on a cheap low-seat light cruiser so you can handle the bike easier and reach the ground no matter the slope of the road (and repair damages cheaper if you do drop it). I started on a Suzuki Boulevard S40 and it was perfect to learn on. Practice doing low-speed stops using only the rear brake at the end. Grabbing the front coming to a complete stop when you’re new can cause you to drop it, especially if you’re turned while doing it. Just practice a bunch in a parking lot to get comfortable and practice emergency braking a ton before even getting on a road

    • @durgons2324
      @durgons2324 Год назад

      Dress for the slide. I'm not trying to discouraged, but you will fall and/or drop the bike at some point. It's part of learning, and you don't want to get hurt from a pretty small fall and be scared away from riding

    • @ITSthatMEXICANO
      @ITSthatMEXICANO Год назад

      You gotta start on a cheap beater bike with low cc’s like an old ninja 250 or 300 if you’re really worried about falling. They’re pretty cheap and it won’t hurt your soul if you lay it down or drop it for the first time like I did with my cbr1000 😅. I highly recommend doing the msf course as they teach you the basics and fundamentals of riding - and if you drop the bike it’s no big deal since everyone does it. And if by end of the course you end up not liking riding or it’s not for you , you’re down 300 bucks instead of a couple grand and god forbid an injury. Good luck and safe riding.

      Don't over think it. You will get a lesson on how to start and stop. Starting movement is like the hardest concept to grasp but it is easy once you figure out your clutch release point and how much throttle to feather in. Once you're physically moving the bike pretty much balances itself. If you've ever ridden a regular bicycle, think about how narrow those tires are, yet how easy it is to balance without falling over. Motorcycle is the same except you've got a larger tire (read more contact patch) so theoretically its more difficult to fall off a motorcycle as long as you've got decent balance. You'll be fine just don't over think it, don't rush trying to get moving it'll come naturally with a little practice.
