I think ATEEZ' musicality is part of why they didn't take off in mainstream Korea. South Korea seems to really love easy listening music, and ATEEZ isn't that. Their music is complex, which is why I, as a professional musician, love it so much. And their lyrics always hit with hard truths.
I'm so satisfied with this song as a latina atiny, they really portrayed the sound in a very interesting and catchy way (it's Ateez, obviously they're always creating art) without falling into the formula and lack of musicality we're used to hearing in music here, so this song really made me proud ❤ Their style will always be unique, I'm happy to be atiny Thanks for your reaction to this gem!!!

I love the instrumentals for this one. It starts off so eerie but turns so fun and energetic. I think its so cool how they do things to compliment their voices through the track, like the deep strings sound in the background when Mingi starts rapping, and how it turns into that tinny tune when Hongjoong jumps on. Love it
Yes!!! This song is really, really interesting, instrumental-wise. There were many parts in this song that I personally felt like were 6/8, and there were also parts that felt like very 3/4 too..which is very unusual in K-pop.. I guess. It just creates the perfect Latin influence for this song. Ahhh!! This song is just so good that each time I hear it... everything feels different. This song is giving a majestic cirkus with the lead actor as the cirkus master with his crew giving the most outstanding performances at night but has some dark secrets with a mysterious back story, turns out the crew is a bunch of freaks and the cirkus master was the one collecting them thru witchcraft and manipulating the audience into getting mesmerized by their show, so that they come back for more and lose their souls little by little bcuz that is the fuel for the cirkus master's ghost pirate ship. Once enough is collected, him and his crew goes out for adventures in the deadly sea. Thank you for coming to my ted talk.

The reason this song has more distinctive vocal and rap lines is partly bc ATEEZ wanted it to be the title track for this comeback but crazy form had been decided on awhile ago 😭 you can tell how much they enjoyed recording this song. As a latina I appreciate the very minimal disrespect towards the Spanish language as well, we've come a long way since our boys decided to pronounce gracias with a double r for no reason lmao Also you were correct in the beginning, arriba means up and it can also be used as an encouragement. I feel like this song kinda has that encouraging vibe too, like it makes you feel energized and ready to have fun when you listen to it, so the title fits it perfectly.
