@@McZsh 54 games in Seattle: .211/.273/.397 with a .670 OPS, 7 HRs, 98 OPS+ Hanigar is at least playing better recently. .286/.375/.571 with 2 HRs and 3 RBIs. I’d rather he get the starts in RF and then Raley. Marlowe will get sent down when Julio comes off the IL
This weekend was a prime example of why the Mariners should have moved on from scott servais over the offseason. First, saturdays game. You're going to put Garver in the DH over Raley? I know he later pinched hit, but he should have been in the lineup card before the first pitch. Then sundays game, Vosler over Turner at first? Are you kidding me? Against one of the best pitchers in MLB? I know Scott is obsessed with creating lineups that are R/L or L/R. To hell with that, you put your best players in the lineup regardless of who's on the mound on the opposing team. No more Garver at DH PERIOD! The only day he gets at bats are the days he gives Cal a day off behind the plate, and even then, that's not ideal.
To be fair, the bp hasn't been performing lately up to a spot where he could be good managing it. When he does put them in the right situation, they must get it done. Where I think Scott struggles most though is finding the sweet spot at the end of a starter's workload.
@@gingerfitdad5091agreed nothing about saucedo tells me ge should be anything other than strictly a mop up pitcher and even then I wouldn't trust him with anything less than a 6 run lead
Call up Cole young! The dude stuff will play in the bigs! Great bat to ball skills, low strike out rate high walk rate and excellent situational hitting which is unheard of untill JT got here.
Canzone has options left so keep him in AAA. He’s not ready and hasn’t shown nearly enough improvement or consistency
Two games in Tacoma, 5/8, two HR, three RBI, plus a walk.
So we'll play Cade Marlowe or even worse Mitch Haniger in RF?

What were Canzones stats up to his injury early this season. Feel like he was doin great. Not so much after early injury
@@warrencarr5775 .130/.231/.174 in his last 7. Not exactly
They should put him in AAA until he finds his stride
"Part of the Ship, part of the Crew" Great break down on the "bringing up prospects time line".
Canzone is batting .375 with 1.100 OPS. No contract for 2025. He’s going to stay in Tacoma for a while or be traded again. Sad, dude has potential.
He needs more time to develop for certain.

Servais sucks at managing the bullpen

@jayrah33 um he put stanek in when he shouldn't of and now he is doing the same with saucedo, he sucks

All of his injuries have been "great plays" induced. He's 3 x as valuable as haniger

He isn't ready, and they shouldn't start his clock early.
No!
Canzone is garbage
