I noticed you checked your ph in soil at 8.5 is that normal or is your meter off. I do the same and PH in soil is at 8 but then the run off is at 6.1 I think our meters are off lol. Optimal pH in soil is 5.8 to 6.5

You must be one hell of a happy chap, I left my son in Thailand many years ago and this year I plan to make Thailand my new home. Watching your vlogs just shows me what I have been missing out on all this time and I have to say I cry almost every time.
Leaving Maxwell with his mum broke my heart and I have never been the same since.
I wish I was more like you and never left him, I could not afford to stay and not long after I got back to the UK I had a stroke and wasnt able to work and send money back.
Seeing your life fills my thoughts of what could have been but I didnt have it in me back then to do anything for him.
I am coming back this June and hope to build some bridges and make up for lost time.

Loved the kale , we've been gardeners here in northeast US . We had issues with pests too as do all vegetable growers. I found food grade diatomaceous earth is great for around the plants base for crawling insects and dusting leaves for flying insects. Its washed off when harvested with some water and us completely safe for humans and pets. Its actually great for ridding parasites from the body. Good luck with the harvesting of veggies.

Looks like you've got everything dialed in with your grow. Great job guys! If you don't mind me asking, how many gallons are the fabric pots for the cannabis plants? I'll be doing my first outdoor grow here soon and that seems about the size of plant I'm looking to grow. I typically did only 5 gallon pots indoor due to space restrictions.

Hello Damo, Ryan and Otis. Although I only caught a glimpse of your green snake, it looked like a golden tree snake to me. They are great for keeping the small rodent population down. I once caught a mouse in the same sort of trap as yours, decided to release it after breakfast but when I went back there was a golden tree snake trapped in the cage and no mouse! It was clear to see that the snake hade devoured the mouse and then was too fat to get out of the small holes! I released it and it went about it's merry way quickly. Things all looking good on the small holding, great idea with the ladybirds. What has Otis done to his face? Looks like it is healing well. God bless you all as always 😀❤🙏

Oh I do envy you living off the land, I can hardly wait to go North and start working the soil. It will all be ORGANIC too and I like the idea of using good bugs to keep the bad bugs away. From what I am hearing from my friends in America we may be in for some very bad times so growing your own food is probably a good idea. I have one friend that took out all the grass in his back yard and growing nothing but vegetables. He goes out in the morning and waters everything before he goes to work and when he gets home he will go out and pick vegetables for dinner and the next day. I liked the shot of you setting on a bucket snipping the leaves off the pot plant. I got mine growing in the back patio. I am thinking about buying some pot seeds out of California. I know you don't go for the THC but I do. The higher the percentage the better.
I don't think those things are rat's I think they look more like mice. I like the simplicity of your trap, you don't kill them but let them out where there is plenty of food for them. I like that.
Sakon Nakhon is the area I'm moving to so I'll be somewhere up your way. I would like to come visit you and your lovely family once I get my first bungalow built so I have a place to live.
