It's a song from a movie (that was also cut into a TV-series), about a book character called Emil i Lönneberga. It's written by Astrid Lindgren, Sweden's most belowed childen's book author (known for books like Pippi Longstocking, Karlsson on the roof, and many more). It's set in rural Sweden in the 1880s and centers around a little boy (that Astrid based on her own father) who loves doing pranks. His best friend is the farmhand Alfred, and this is his song.
Alfred sings about how he works hard all week, and at the weekend he likes to drink, fight, and sleep with a girl. That the priest wants him to go to church on Sunday, but he prefers to sleep then. The priest can sleep on Monday, but a "fattig bonddräng" (poor farmhand) has to work then. At the end of the song he sings about his life ending, and when he's at the pearly gates he worries that the Lord will punish him for his weekend habits, but then the Lord says that he's seen all his hard work, and he says that now poor farmhand, now you can finally rest. In Swedish is quite beautiful, and it's quite common at funerals, including Astrid Lindgren's own. Then it was sung by another Tommy, Tommy Körberg.

3:33 No, it's not that Björn Gustafsson, that you reacted to from Melodifestivalen. It's a bit confusing, but we have two actors/comedians with that name (just a different spelling).
Björn Gustafson, born in 1934, who played Alfred in "Emil i Lönneberga", it was his song in the film
Björn Gustafsson, born in 1986, who has co-hosted Melodifestivalen twice, and whom you've reacted to.
