Honestly I never liked this type of zombies untill MW3 I like open world extraction. I pre-ordered this hoping it would be similar. This map is way too small.
At 1:02:17, the death scene is just INSANELY CRAZY! It’s like Resident Evil 2 and remake games when getting killed by zombies and etc enemy like that and the screen would says: You are dead but in black ops 6 zombies, the screen would says now: Eliminated instead of You are dead. Can’t believe the death scene reference to resident evil 2 remake. Just crazy and wild! 🤯
This is obviously an introductory map for people that aren't familiar with Zombies. Don't know why everyone's screaming and pissing their pants over it.
Looks like more of Cold War which I liked. But BO3/BO4 were on a whole other level in terms of presentation and quality. And I don't even like BO4 Zombies.
This is making me realize how Cold War, bo4, and now bo6 literally only have a handful of things to address regarding the community and fix, and then it has the potential to be the best zombies game by FAR, mind you I said potential now people don’t be illiterate.
I feel like in terms of gameplay features cold war and by that extent bo6 are much better but in terms of map quality bo3 and bo4 were much better like imagine bo4 maps with cold war gameplay mechanics like the perk system and whatnot that'd be peak
Def will be changing the HUD when the game comes out, no damage numbers no mini map and the BO3 preset HUD. This map would’ve looked better if it had a sunset look to it or flat out dark tbh.
Liberty Falls seems like it'll be the smaller farming map ill go to when doing camo challenges; considering we have the darker more moody Terminus coming alongside LF on launch, it seems like there's some good variety whether you're like a returning round based connoisseur from the jimmy zalinski era or more like a outbreak/MWZ only new player trying RBZ for the first time. I do think having the options is good to appeal to both sides of the zombies player spectrum, very similar to games previously, such as kino/five tranzit/nuketown shadows/giant: something experimental and hopefully exciting versus something more familiar to ease us into the new systems That being said, I can definitely bring up some minor criticisms at onset: the map is overwhelmingly bright in a sterilized, not stylized way that i don't personally enjoy. The Jet Gun just being in the box is a bit disappointing considering its whole gimmick was a quest to build it back in Black Ops II, although this was previously customary in older titles. I would complain about some things being really rough, like the lack of an intro cutscene like from cold war or gumball machine animations being less coherent than in black ops III, but I recognize this is a prerelease beta build and not the full release, so I will take them with a grain of salt and wait for the full thing before complaining about polish (I can also complain about the UI, but I know on full release it will be able to be tweaked to something im more familiar with in options) overall I am excited to see what treyarch brings forth in the full release
Who knows, if something is important for the dark aether storyline is to justify everything so probably we'll get a radio/document or anything like dunno "Ahh yeah, that weird interdimensional bunny felt like feed us his balls, I mean his gubblegum balls." 😅😅 side the joke the'll probably explain
You can disable the mini map with the classic HUD preset (looks similar to BO3's hud placement) when customizing your HUD in the settings. I assume you can also manually disable the mini map without changing the layout of your HUD if you don't want to, but don't quote me on that.
Here's a positive comment since all the Zombies Community do is complain: The Jet Gun making a glorious comeback is awesome, the way the zombies disintegrate when you shoot them with the Ray Gun is just sooo satisfying, The Pack-a-Punch area looks so cool, the 90s town vibe is spot on, looks more like a multiplayer map than a zombies map (the complaint for that is warranted don't get me wrong) but there's a whole ass easter egg that's yet to be uncovered so I can't wait for that and hopefuilly it will set off the hype for the future DLC maps!
people will see a second map that was a lot larger than we all expected and hear the casters say “all story and easter eggs are turned off” and will complain that there aren’t any easter eggs 😭😭😭
So sad to see them remove the BO zombies feel and keep the mwz stuff in. All they added was gobble gun and rounds. Other than that it’s just mwz. Praying Terminus will be good.

Imagine if the outbreak happened just before the sun sets. So in real time the map starts fairly bright but after a half hour to an hour of playing it’s just dark for the rest of the time. That would be a nice touch
What yall need to understand is that comparing this to bo3 zombies launch maps, this is better. Terminus is shadows, liberty is giant. Sure the giant was based off an og zombies classic, but this map at least has slightly more content and potentially a more engaging ee than the golden gun ee. Most likely treyarch has a shit ton of goodies awaiting us later down the line and im waiting to either be proven right or wrong when the first season of zombies content arrives, but until then im content wit what I got and ill only truly complain if the next season of zombies is just another repeat of multiplayer or campaign.

It was just too much, simply turning into the tentacle monster thing and opening doors and swinging around the map for a limited time made me play a few times and never go back. If the tentacle monster had unlimited time to open things then I would have been more onboard with it. I just couldn’t be bothered to learn all that and get annoyed when the timer ran out

You're completely right, man...I want to see what is down the pike. So far this is CW with a bunch more content at launch, which is great, but imagine having more maps, perks and augments. I truly think it could be fun.
For everyone saying this map looks unappealing or has no 'Aura' (dear God I hate myself for using that word), The first map is supposed to be a trainer for people new to round based zombies. A lot of people will be returning from MWZ to check out the gameplay because they loved the way MWZ was played and because they want to continue the story where MWZ left off. It's supposed to be a refresher. I'm sure the more complicated, appealing maps and maybe even new zombies' mode will be released at a later unspecified date.
You mean the second map. The first map is terminus, which is the main map, not saying that liberty falls is any less inportant but will be harder and darker while this is the second map which is intended to be the introduction map for any new zombies players

All I can say is, this maps bland asf. SoE (another town map) was at least set in the 40’s and had character/atmosphere. This map is set in a random town from the ~70’s that’s just very generic. Sure we had town in bo2, but that was over 10 years ago, the selling point to this map is that richtofen was placed in the trailer for it. We’re stuck using warzone characters, the hud is just a warzone hud. Go back to the old school ways of bo2 or bo3 where they had a hud that actually fit the vibes of zombies. Now we get squares with a font we used in middle school for slide shows. Zombies continues to go downhill and has nothing enticing about it anymore, other than “hey we’re round based again”. I understand cod wants to get warzone players playing zombies so that it’s more popular amongst the player base and made it easier so casual players can get the hang of it, but that’s missing the whole point of zombies. No one started off playing their first cod focused straight on zombies, we played for the multiplayer and were eventually attracted towards zombies through its atmosphere; challenge; starting off trying to just survive, not just playing an objective; and also to mention the unique characters that we didn’t experience anywhere else. We don’t need score streaks, we don’t need armor, we don’t need salvage, we don’t need to take 8 hits to get downed. The only positive to this game other than round based being back, is that the movement changes are “unique”. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it - waw, bo1, bo2, bo3, somewhat bo4

Obviously in the full version of the map they will change visual aspects of the map as you advance through the ester egg and if you still don't like it you can go play custom maps. Super excited to play BO6 zombies. But I’m not sure if the game is sped up a little or the gameplay just seems a bit fast. Looks like zombies are for sure faster on earlier rounds in this new game

This map has no souls and no aura, it just seem like multiplayer with some zombies, the operator is mute and doesn't speak wich it making it even more lifeless. The pack-a-punch is easy with instant upgrade, the bubblegum will be broken like in BO3, zombies need 7 hits to down you, hyper-simplification make everything insipid, bland. At least WW2 zombie has challenge like make 25 waves without going down on prologue with just using MP-40, 25 waves without opening door, etc. It was a quality of this zombie that made it so interesting to play. And wtf are these life bar, zombie name, and number appearing on screen (i know we can custom HUD but doesn't answer my question : wtf is this ?).

I will say that this map doesnt look the greatest, I like the other map way better because of the setting the tranzit like mechanic etc I can't really find a reason to like this map knowing its a multiplayer map
Having a simple survival map is a refresher along side with a more complex map like terminus it’s like having have Soe and the giant launch side by side in bo3

Même les camouflages sont de plus en plus pitoyables.. ou répétitifs.. Le point positif hors-Zombies sur les derniers COD, c'est d'avoir garder les camouflages d'armes à travers les nouveaux COD en effectuant un simple défi pour pouvoir récupérer les anciens. Ceci est acceptable pour ma part, ils devraient le faire avec le Zombies des anciens COD, certains étaient tellement beaux... Malheureusement on ne les verra plus également.

Hmm if you want a lot more speed go with ps it can load the game fast and 120 support is good if you Wana get a lot of exclusives and the game fore 20 bucks go with Xbox cons for ps is you need to pay full price for the game and it only comes with 700 gb of storage cons for Xbox random lag spikes and loading will take longer but its up to you my man

Imagine if the outbreak happened just before the sun sets. So in real time the map starts fairly bright but after a half hour to an hour of playing it’s just dark for the rest of the time. That would be a nice touch

What yall need to understand is that comparing this to bo3 zombies launch maps, this is better. Terminus is shadows, liberty is giant. Sure the giant was based off an og zombies classic, but this map at least has slightly more content and potentially a more engaging ee than the golden gun ee. Most likely treyarch has a shit ton of goodies awaiting us later down the line and im waiting to either be proven right or wrong when the first season of zombies content arrives, but until then im content wit what I got and ill only truly complain if the next season of zombies is just another repeat of multiplayer or campaign.

It was just too much, simply turning into the tentacle monster thing and opening doors and swinging around the map for a limited time made me play a few times and never go back. If the tentacle monster had unlimited time to open things then I would have been more onboard with it. I just couldn’t be bothered to learn all that and get annoyed when the timer ran out

For everyone saying this map looks unappealing or has no 'Aura' (dear God I hate myself for using that word), The first map is supposed to be a trainer for people new to round based zombies. A lot of people will be returning from MWZ to check out the gameplay because they loved the way MWZ was played and because they want to continue the story where MWZ left off. It's supposed to be a refresher. I'm sure the more complicated, appealing maps and maybe even new zombies' mode will be released at a later unspecified date.

You mean the second map. The first map is terminus, which is the main map, not saying that liberty falls is any less inportant but will be harder and darker while this is the second map which is intended to be the introduction map for any new zombies players

All I can say is, this maps bland asf. SoE (another town map) was at least set in the 40’s and had character/atmosphere. This map is set in a random town from the ~70’s that’s just very generic. Sure we had town in bo2, but that was over 10 years ago, the selling point to this map is that richtofen was placed in the trailer for it. We’re stuck using warzone characters, the hud is just a warzone hud. Go back to the old school ways of bo2 or bo3 where they had a hud that actually fit the vibes of zombies. Now we get squares with a font we used in middle school for slide shows. Zombies continues to go downhill and has nothing enticing about it anymore, other than “hey we’re round based again”. I understand cod wants to get warzone players playing zombies so that it’s more popular amongst the player base and made it easier so casual players can get the hang of it, but that’s missing the whole point of zombies. No one started off playing their first cod focused straight on zombies, we played for the multiplayer and were eventually attracted towards zombies through its atmosphere; challenge; starting off trying to just survive, not just playing an objective; and also to mention the unique characters that we didn’t experience anywhere else. We don’t need score streaks, we don’t need armor, we don’t need salvage, we don’t need to take 8 hits to get downed. The only positive to this game other than round based being back, is that the movement changes are “unique”. If it’s not broken, don’t fix it - waw, bo1, bo2, bo3, somewhat bo4
Well the biggest issue for me is just the hud. But if this map is not dark and creepy enough then that's why terminus will also be playable at launch.

This map has no souls and no aura, it just seem like multiplayer with some zombies, the operator is mute and doesn't speak wich it making it even more lifeless.
The pack-a-punch is easy with instant upgrade, the bubblegum will be broken like in BO3,
zombies need 7 hits to down you, hyper-simplification make everything insipid, bland.
At least WW2 zombie has challenge like make 25 waves without going down on prologue with just using MP-40, 25 waves without opening door, etc. It was a quality of this zombie that made it so interesting to play.
And wtf are these life bar, zombie name, and number appearing on screen (i know we can custom HUD but doesn't answer my question : wtf is this ?).
It's meant to be easy cause this is supposed to be the map for new people, like what the giant was in Bo3 in comparison to shadows of evil

And yet, as @cparss said, taking the example of Shadows of Evil (Black Ops III) was also in a city, the atmosphere felt for my part made me want to survive at least, want to play, want to discover this city, its characters and each secret/easter eggs that were hidden.
We will never have this type of Zombies again, after that I am not asking to completely go back to resources, keep the Omni-movement and the piles of scrap for the workbench if you wish, but the rest must be removed. We don't need all this to have fun... bring the boards back to the windows/passages for the start of the rounds which were cool to watch the Zombies appear from a mysterious place, the debris which blocked the next passages. that we had to pay to keep this “fantastic” side and not ultra realistic.
I must have forgotten a lot of things, I needed to express my feelings after so many years without saying anything...
I no longer feel this sole objective which is “SURVIVE”.
Even the camouflages are more and more pitiful... or repetitive...
The positive point outside of Zombies on the latest CODs is having to keep the weapon camouflages throughout the new CODs by completing a simple challenge to be able to recover the old ones. This is acceptable for my part, they should do it with the Zombies of the old CODs, some were so beautiful... Unfortunately we won't see them anymore either.

Le Mode Zombies à mes yeux était horrifique, donner du sens à vouloir survivre toujours plus haut dans les manches, de donner corps et âmes pour ne pas prendre 2 coups sans l'Atout Mastodonte, avec une ambiance prévue au mode.. Que ce soit de jour comme de nuit.
Shangri-La (Black Ops) était bel et bien de jour et pourtant l'ambiance était présente. Liberty Falls (Black Ops 6) ne me donne pas envie pour autant.. Et pourtant, comme l'a dit @cparss en prenant l'exemple de Shadows of Evil (Black Ops III) était également dans une ville, l'ambiance ressenti pour ma part donnait envie de survivre au moins, envie de jouer, envie de découvrir cette ville, ses personnages et chaque secret/easter eggs qui étaient cachés.
Nous n'aurons plus jamais ce type de Zombies, après je ne demande pas de revenir totalement aux ressources, garder l'Omni-mouvement et les tas de férailles pour l'établi si vous le souhaitez, mais le reste il faut le retirer.. Nous n'avons nullement besoin de tout cela pour prendre du plaisir.. ramenez les planches aux fenêtres/passages pour les débuts de manches qui étaient cools d'observer les Zombies apparaissaient d'un endroit mystérieux, les débris qui bloquaient les prochains passages que nous devions payer pour garder ce côté "fantastique" et non ultra réaliste.
J'ai dû oublié pas mal de chose, j'avais besoin d'exprimer mon ressenti après autant d'années sans rien dire...
Je ne ressens plus ce seul objectif qui est "SURVIVRE".
Même les camouflages sont de plus en plus pitoyables.. ou répétitifs..
Le point positif hors-Zombies sur les derniers COD, c'est d'avoir garder les camouflages d'armes à travers les nouveaux COD en effectuant un simple défi pour pouvoir récupérer les anciens. Ceci est acceptable pour ma part, ils devraient le faire avec le Zombies des anciens COD, certains étaient tellement beaux... Malheureusement on ne les verra plus également.

The only thing I noticed that I don’t like is that they kept the loss of perks when going down. That was the one thing I liked in modern warfare three zombies the most.

Hmm if you want a lot more speed go with ps it can load the game fast and 120 support is good if you Wana get a lot of exclusives and the game fore 20 bucks go with Xbox cons for ps is you need to pay full price for the game and it only comes with 700 gb of storage cons for Xbox random lag spikes and loading will take longer but its up to you my man

you acting like this the only zombies map you’ll be able to play on launch. Yea I know it does look bad but this is a map catered to the casual zombie fans, or people who never played zombies. If you don’t like this map play Terminus which will launch with this map
icl they literally had said this map is bigger for the reason that terminus is small windy and claustraphobic its never gonna be the same as bo3 because those developers left its a good game be glad its not vanguard
