The radio edit was for a new short animation film called ‘Little Shrew’ that Kate launched a few weeks ago in support of the charity War Child. To support the film Kate gave a wonderful radio interview during which she announced that she was now keen to get back to recording. I think the two biggest singles videos you have still to do by Kate are ‘This Woman’s Work’, which Maxwell covered in the early 2000s, and ‘Army Dreamers’, in which Kate portrays herself as a grieving Irish mother (Kate is half Irish - Irish mother)
This is a duet with her son. If you haven't heard anything from her since 93 you should check out Aerial from 2005. She did a concept suite on it "A Sky Of Honey". It is all of disk two. It's a truly magical piece of Art/Music.
Beautiful song. Kate recently put out an animated video featuring a little shrew with an edited version of this song to bring attention to the effect of war on children and to support the charity War Child UK. It's also very beautiful. The vocals on this track, except for the chorus, are actually her son Bertie.
Kate's son sings with her on some tracks. I think it's a concept album with a running theme of disappearing love. My favorite album of hers as it is very emotional.
