To do this as a class without a mobility ability, you simply fight him in melee range like normal until you get the debuff for the knockback. Jump off the platform towards him right when the mark is about to go off (RIGHT BEFORE, or you will die), and if you are lined up correctly, you will land harmlessly on the very back end of the platform. Be sure not to stand too close to the edge when you do not have the mark, or the sources of Chaos will push you off before you can react. Happy mount hunting, DKs Locks and Pallies! BTW, its not easy ;)
There is an obstacle at the back left of the platform, stand with your back against it, and the void stars cant knock you off, because this obstacle blocks your path

They fixed it, now you get pancaked against it and die.
i'm not sure of how i'm supposed to do it on my paladin. Knockbacks on p3 are always wiping me except when i'm lucky and i land on a rock at the back end of the platform.
doing this as a 930 windwalker is really easy, used DHC and prydaz, DoS is really good for the twisted darkness, and trancendence for the mark.
The adds are 102 so they drop chi spheres.
You should also save SotW for the source of chaos.

any class that can do 2m+ dps can do this now. All you need is an avalanche potion to get through the mark of the legion at the beginning of phase 2. None of the other mechanics will even happen if you can lust and push 2m + dps in p2 .

quick version: Be equipped in Mythic ToS gear, wreck Mannoroth, wreck Archimonde, and dont get your hopes too high for the mount, or in the end youll suffer crippling depression

"Make sure you have a blink, charge, heroic leap, warlock portal, etc."
So basically, a couple classes have it easier, say a hunter or maybe demon hunter, but other classes such as paladins, priests, rogues, shamans, monk, death knights, etc can't even do the fight. Good talk.
Monks can port. But I understand the gripe. I'm pretty sure Warriors or Demon Hunters are the best classes for this by far.
Stetson Sheffield druids should be able to easily cheese this. Death knights are by far the least mobile and wont be able to do this at all
so rouge can schadowstep schamans have a talent charge or gust of wind priests have levitate to avoid fall dmg xd so pretty much every class can do it :D
Not really, rogues can shadowstep but they cant avoid all of the knockbacks that come their way. Shamans have that moevement speed but the mechanic that is made to blow people off will be stronger than that. Priests only have one DPS spec and they lack almost any mobility. Even with levitate you only move at normal speed and will easily be knocked off.
I mean theres always ways to cheese it, asmongold figured it out for warriors and I guess this video just leaves it to other classes (if they wanna figure out how to solo it) some sort of guidance.
However I think its a good video and I enjoy asmongolds content

Tldr: Do a shit ton of damage.
personally i saw this mount dropped 4 times already. imo just go for a group 2-4 to kill him. with 885-900 and maximum traits, it's pretty fast to kill him. it's good for you to solo but you need to set the loot to group loot,even if you do it with others not solo. it has more chance than PL,i don't know why people keep doing this as PL, same thing with Korkron Jugg, saw 3 times with Group loot.
Warlock portal doesn’t work at all I’ve done it several tries in a row but I only starting plaything this game 3 days ago
If there are any mages struggling with these bosses, get some leech gear. With leech these fights are way easier
I was extremely lucky and blessed to get both Blackhand's and Archie's mounts back when they were guaranteed drops. WoD didn't have a lot going for it, but the mythic raid mounts sure are sweet.

you think the legendary system would've been more fun/better/more interesting if the legendaries weren't listed in a menu? and you got random ones with random stats and you didn't know how many there were. like stumbling on real rare treasure.
This sounds like a good idea for about 30 seconds. Not knowing what youre even farming for or farming three times as long as somebody to get 1 legendary and he has 4 and the one legendary you have he has but triple the stats or all the good stats LOL

what is your gear lvl while making this video? I see you are putting out over 2 million in damage/dps.A 905 or 915 i doubt could do this.

What if you're a tank? Can you do this? I am 925 and on my "dps spec" I can even reach 1 million dps per second. Also, how come it seems so much more viable, the damage I mean, on mythic Archimone than the heroic bosses in mist of pandaria? Like I dealt around 100k or so on Ji Kun and other bosses, but I deal 500 - 1mill crits on the wod forge raid... I'd expect the mist of panderia ones to be easier..

Hey Asmongold, I know you dont need the gear out of HFC but whenever you do HFC, make a private group and set the party to raid. Youll get a nice amount of loot on each boss

im trying to enter the dungeon on mythic difficulty, but it puts me in heroic difficulty everytime...
Im a 935 ww monk and want to go for the mount, but as i said, even though i checked like 10 times if my dungeon difficulty was actually set to heroic or mythic (it IS set to mythic) if anybody knows this problem or can help me in any way , it would be greatly appreciated

Trying to solo the first boss, really annoying with the defences part. Quite easy to solo raids as a Beast Mastery Hunter if any of you Hunters out there are wondering.

@Asmongold - is it possible to solo Hellfire Assault?
Normal and Heroic are really easy, especially if you use Bear Tartare for additional movement speed. Mythic is inevitably going to be harder, as you would have to run gigantic distances even with the Bear Tartare; if you're going to do it, be a Beast Mastery Hunter, or bring another person so you two can deal with the different sides.

maxime frappart I was wondering that as well. I know that like 3-4 players in a group and a butt ton of loot will drop but the loot drop difference between the two bosses confuses me. Maybe it's just the boss's design?

You need just burst him on 2 and 3 phase (and avoid taking dot on first phase), that's it, super easy with 920.

I cant solo Zakuun he despawns after he does his cleave thing.
In his current state it requires you being on a class with a permanent pet.
Heroic Leap at the right time and your good i have done 3/3 times
If you run away from him when he casts the cleave it's not gonna do anything

I took a break from wow in mid NH Mythic, had 7/10 when the guild died and i stoped play completely.
And now i have some thoughts about starting again because a realy old guild i was in back in wotlk/cata contacted me about their guild etc, and i've been missing Wow a bit.
The question to all of this is what have i missed? and how long will it take to be back on track again?

Nope, because it they would get to him faster and knock him off, and Draught of Souls makes you immune to knockback effects.
