Thanks Marcus. I’m a long time Melodyne user and have the full polyphonic version. However, I do find the the gui very bright and hard on the eyes over long periods. Even with their darkest colour option. Re-Pitch has just the graphics I need and looks to be very similar in workflow. I may well add it to the stable.

What vocoder plug-in might that be? Melodyne and repitch seem very similar but I think I may actually buy repitch.
@@_PaZoZo You're correct. We played with it a little bit and found that it can add different audio notes to vocals, but nothing like the original vocoder vocal enhancements we hear on so many songs. Melodyne actually does a better job.

Great topic,thanx. But my focus took the bass sound. How you created such a sound?
we have spent a lifetime using Melodyne, they would have to propose something that one really changes, for example. that from the tuning scale it is possible to automatically make third and fifth voices... or facilitate the learning curve...

What you mean is, Studio One should come with ITS OWN PITCH-CORRECTION PLUGIN!!! THE SAME FOR PRO TOOLS!!!!

Why does it have to be Melodyne ? I know it presents a lot of features but why does everyone use it? FL Studio has Newtone, Cubase has VariAudio, Reason has Pitch Edit and Logic possesses its own pitch-correction plugin. So, even though Studio One can use Melodyne like any DAW, why can't it create its own plugin? So I have to address that to PreSonus every 2 years??? Does that make sense?
@@makximumlive one, I'm gonna state the obvious: development costs time and money and making one is futile because they already had Melodyne which actually is one of the reasons many people are attracted to Studio One. Melodyne is also a way that Studio One days to its customers that they have ARA working.
Two, Celemony knows their stuff and have been developing Melodyne for years. Melodyne essentials is more than enough for most people and even professionals. They are the "standard". There is a reason why a lot of people choose this over VariAudio or Newtone. If Presonus will be making one, it will be redundant and people will still use Melodyne over it because it's tried and tested.
Three, Melodyne works on any DAW. If you buy Studio One professional, not only do you have a tuning software for S1, but also for your other DAWs.
Heck, even Pro Tools doesn't have an equivalent to Melodyne and just now they got ARA support.

I purchased repitch and I installed it but it doesn’t perform that good as this one. I am using studio one 6 professional , I can’t find the edit with repitch option,is there any settings that I need to do maybe ? Help me please

Yes. Melodyne is great for adjustments to any audio or instrument tracks.

Well, I dont know if it works because no one said anything about needing to buy a license, iloc dongle etc..I am not going through all that without even being able to try it out first.

Assuming RePitch is a 3rd party plugin you have to purchase, why would you bother when you get Melodyne for free and it is already integrated into Studio One?

When I use repitch in V6 as "event FX" it bogs my mac studio down big time. I get pinwheels every moved I make.,. Takes forever. Even with all my plugins off.

what happened to melodyne
Hey guys , why is the UI so laggy I have an i7 12700K with a RX 580..so I know it's not the Hardware...even the playhead looks like 10 frames...i always loved VocALign even updated to Ultra but this looks very laggy to me not fluid etc...but Melodyne isn't better I know

I am using it with 3070 ti and r9 5950x. As you mentioned it works very buggy. I use Vocalign Ultra and that's how it is. I use Vocalign Ultra for time correction only for harmonic and double vocals. The pitch correction algorithm is terrible. Melodyne is a legend when it comes to pitch correction and it doesn't look like it's going to change. If Melodyne comes with a dark mode and a few more useful macros (like transition correction with a pencil, automatic time correction for vocal doubles and harmonics), Melodyne will never know a rival.
@@AlperenDemirr I didn't mean to bash any product since I use all of them for different tasks....I just wanted to mention when you watch this video you can clearly see that even Marcus computer hasnt a very fluid playhead in the Ara window...i don't know 🤔 maybe it's ARA that's not fluid...so it's not about the quality of the plugin I love VocALign and I think this one is also great and I think it is worth trying...all I'm complaining about is the slow GUI
