Ridiculous test!! No need to penetrare 20 layers of fabric. We only iron one piece of clothe for time. Secondly, a normal steam iron heats itself faster and in higher temperatures than a steam generator that heats only at max 100oC.

No! Absolutelly not!! A normal iron is much faster and ergonomic than a steam generator!! I had both of them.
