It’s also understated to teach yourself not to take playing personally. A lot of ppl including myself take losses and mistakes as a flaw in their abilities. If you look at your mistakes objectively you improve so much faster
I personally have the "My teammates suck" attitude, except in that I position expecting for things to go poorly. Has worked very well in C3. Because if I suck, I know my teammate does too!
That's good and all but you realistically should position for multiple scenarios I made a video on that recently. If you only position for mistakes or a play going poorly you will be out of position if the play goes well or your teammate makes a great play forward.
My buddy is my coach and he's around C3, and I am C1. Without him pointing out that my boost management and pathing is really needing work I think I would not be actively trying to improve it as much as I am right now. Having a higher level player point out your mistakes without sugar coating and telling you any lies is so crucial to getting passed low champ especially. Great tip
As a player who grinds this game a shit tone I know all of these steps and I've used and use them all the time however the bad habbits I have are about my mental and blaming too much on mates and kinda distracting myself from my own mistakes and I feel like I forgot about that until I watched this. Now I am going to try improving with the right habbits and right mental and perhaps get back to 1800 and maybe get ssl
@@OPKrez let’s go! Sometimes all you need is a reminder, that’s like the 3rd stage of learning so now you enter the 4th stage & go crazy! I believe in you let’s get on the good grind homie
So I’ve only got 2 days and 11 hours play time gotten to play 1 2v2 gold two or 3 just about anything else so I signed up for little tournament 3v3 solo que 😂 first game both afk on the double kick off leaving me to defend soooo I started flaming both my teammates on mic with out realizing I wasn’t muted to the point one went on mic to flame me back and I’m so glad he did we very shortly apologized to each other locked in and won the whole thing didn’t loose one match and truly two solid teammates
Can we get a guide or list of things to look out for to determine teammates and oponnents playstyles. One of the things that's holding me back is probably that I play the same no matter with who I am playing with or against. I've actually noticed that in private matches where even when I want to win I'd just be playing my prefered way even if it ends up leaving my plat or diamond friend back. I'm good at forcing oponents to give the ball away and to annoy them with demos, boost steals, not giving them time to setup aerial plays... But I struggle at forcing myself to play more conservative
Can we get the codes for the training packs featured in the video please. And I have to agree with the most of the tips. I have been Watching more of my replays whining about my teammates questionable plays and decisions but also looking at what I could have done better and I did reach my peak after a good session without as much training as I used to do. I'll try to look at them from now on from his perspective and see if I'm easy to play with or not.

dude i need help i peaked c2 div 4 through solo queue and held there for like two weeks. over the last week ive gotten some of if not the worst tm8s I have ever had. no joke, if I don't have 800+ points we have no chance. its not all tm8s, I think my decision making just got worse somehow, I need help I've lost almost 200 mmr in just this week bc of the matchmaking and my decisions. I think I play at a c3 level yet I continue to lose games to people I am much better than in c1. im going to drop to d3 if something isnt done. help 😢
chances are you aren't the easiest person to play around. If you get into the mindset that all your tm8s suck that means you're not being a great teammate yourself. At the end of the day the MMR does NOT matter. If you're supposed to be at a rank you will consistently hold that rank.
@@JoshBoomaI always go into the game with the mindset my teammate is better. it usually doesn't work, but when it does, they throw in the last 30 seconds, blame it on me, then leave or quit playing even if its tie game or we're only down one. I know its this big stereotype of "oh its always my teammates fault" but I literally always play around them and let them ballchase while being ready for passes and staying back to make the saves, and the second I'm not there, they make a mistake and get scored on, and blame me. its literally every game. I can give you replays to prove. I don't always have the highest score, but that's because my teammates ballchase and leave me in 1v2s. 90% of losses is from them. 10% is when I make a dumb mistake. I'm saying this because I genuinely stuck and need help and a coach is the only thing I haven't tried. I want to get good at this game, like ssl good, I honestly thought I would be gc by now after I started the grind like a month ago, but I'm just stuck and I need outside help
@ you don’t need to show me proof bro I completely understand & I’ve been there arguably longer than you me playing this game for as long as I have and ultimately at the end of the day it does suck and you can’t win every game. With that being you gotta understand 2v1 situations are a result of decisions you and your teammate make. The best way to prevent them from happening is understanding how those situations develop and stopping them at the root before they happen. Now that’s a skill that takes being in those situations thousands of times to realize. If you really do want to pursue coaching I’d be more than happy to help! Just join the discord and check out the coaching section then reach out to me on discord!
@ right, completely fair this is part of what I coach for players is being able to understand how to break down your own replays etc so like I said if you really want coaching I can help
