I’m new to this teaching. But after listening and reading Joel’s teachings I’m perplexed about his method of dying, reportedly a heart attack. Seems as if he would have transitioned as Enoch or Yogananda. or the Buddha. Yet so much of his teaching feels like truth, what l have been searching for for more than 50 years. And especially any Truth teacher l have encountered in the last 25 years and there have been many.

"Relinquish all desiers, relinquish this world", when I listen to these words it reminds me of the eastern teachings, to give up all desires and this world. This is because the tradition is of living in monateries and in caves and in the forests..... retiring from the world ...
But now it is you waking up in the middle of the market place and taking everyone with you, discovering that space and time cannot bind you and setting your brother free by not seeing him apart from you. Thank you so much!
