Great thanks, one other thing i do is to open the brake fluid reservoir before working on the brakes, makes pushing the pistons back in easier also when new pads are installed there will be more fluid in the reservoir due to the pistons being pushed into the calipers.

hi, nice video! when you see the pistons, don,t push inside without cleaning them first. just push the front andvthe rear wirh the old brake pads mounted... out the wheel, like the video... thx for sharing your work.

I would use a stout piece wire to hanger the calipers from whilst doing the service and not let them hang from their hoses. Also, loosen off the grub screw and caliper bolt whilst the mounting bolts are still tight? Just asking?

Good video you make it look easy mate. I hate the calipers on the GPZ always get gummed up in the winter.

Hi, thanks for the video, I am one of the typical guys that take the bike to the mechanic so they can do these types of work but you make it look easy especially with the calliper tool.
I have the Honda NT700VA ABS 2008 and I commute to work every day doing 77 miles each way.
The foot brake gets stuck when I pressed so at the moment I only use the front brake. Do you have any suggestions on what type of pads can I get for my bike and if they vary what would be the best?? Thanks.

Its a great tool, regarding pads i use either Brenta or EBC sintered pads, i get mine from Wemoto.com , great service and good prices, regarding the foot brake, may need to do a service on the rear brake master cylinder and check everything is free and moving
