When the preacher saw that homeless man going in the garbage to seek for food He was supposed to have rescued the homeless man from the garbage disposal and took him to buy some regular food.

Why We Must Be Born Again
The Way Back To Pentecost
When Jesus told Nicodemus, except a man or person be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God. St. John 3:5, he was telling him who needed to do it. Now, watch it. Matthew told what to do, Mark told why to do it, Luke told where to do it and John told who to do it. What’s missing? Didn’t nobody tell how to do it, until the great day called Pentecost when Peter stood up to preach.
Then Peter said unto them, Repent, and be baptized every one of you in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost.
Acts 2:38 KJV
What to do? - repent and be baptized. Who? - everyone of you. How do we do it? - in the name of Jesus Christ. Why do it? for the remission of sins. What’s the result of doing it? - and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Ghost. The Jews did it. Look at the 8th Chapter of Acts, verse 4, “Therefore they that were scattered abroad went everywhere preaching the Word.” Verse 5 “Then Philip went down to the city of Samaria, and preached Christ unto them.” Verse 12, “But when they believed Phillip preaching the things concerning the kingdom of God, and the name of Jesus Christ, they were baptized, both men and women.”
14. Now when the apostles which were at Jerusalem heard that Samaria had received the word of God, they sent unto them Peter and John:
15. Who, when they were come down, prayed for them, that they might receive the Holy Ghost:
16. (For as yet he was fallen upon none of them: only they were baptized in the name of the Lord Jesus.) Acts 8:14-16.
In Acts 2, the Jews did it. In Acts 8, the half Jews did it. In Acts 10, the Gentiles did it and in Acts 19, the Baptist folks did it. They all did it because God said that’s the only way to do it.
Of the 66 books in the entire Bible, there’s only one that don’t fit in with any of the groups. That book is the book of Acts, because the book of Acts is the only book in the Bible that tells you how to get save.
And, until Jesus Christ returns in the clouds to call his church away “1st Peter 2:9-10,” this gospel is to be preached by us to every nation and is still in force today till that great getting up morning when the dead in Christ shall rise first, we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them to meet the Lord in the air, so shall we ever be with the lover of our souls.
Will you be saved today, according to the Holy Scriptures? Acts 2:38 KJV is still in force today till God’s body, “the Bride of Christ is completed.”
I like to see a preacher use his preaching only to move someone’s spirit.

I can’t sit under this stuff anymore. I have to be somewhere where the power of the Holy Ghost is there, where people are being saved, set free. I found out where all this came from. Slavery- because the slaves couldn’t read, so they had to do all of this. Well, it’s time for Jesus return, and peoples minds are still in 1840. I’m not sitting no where where the pastor ain’t casting a devil out
I totally understand the man thanking God but why didn't the preacher purchase clean food for the homeless man? I don't understand why as a Christian you would not have ceased the opportunity to be a servant of God.😢😢😢😢😢
Who knows whether he did or didn't. He just told what he seen the man doing. He didn't say what the outcome was. Some people do stuff for people without telling what they did to help the situation, because then some people would think that they are bragging about what they do. Pastor Chapman helps a lot of people that go unspoken.

Instead of the whopping, I would as I am sure a lot of the watchers would have loved to hear of the pastor giving him clean food. That is not bragging 😏 and if doesn't tell what he does for others, how do you know what he does? I am not getting into a war of words with you, but practice what is preached. @@Jerry-ky5kf HI Jerry, the Bible states you never know when you are in the midst/entertaining Angel's. This was a test to determine if we a truly his followers. What would you have done? I pray we all pass the test.
It's the context. Bc of the sermon and the subject he was speaking on it didn't call for him to tell the complete story. Only that part for context purposes. Rev probably got 100 stories he can tell about how he helped someone but he chose this one bc certain things in the story fit well with the subject.

It’s the celebratory part of this message, where the preacher closes out the main point of his message in a celebrating tone, often referred as “ whooping “ ( the W is silent ) . When this occurs, this is where the organist comes in and helps the preacher using thunderous chords & etc to enhance that part of the message even more.

Emotional manipulation and cliches, entertainment instead of gospel preaching.
