Which external speaker for Elecraft KX3 in 2023

The built in speaker in Elecraft KX3 is "ok" but not great. Headphones or ear plugs is an option, but if you prefer a speaker, which for the KX3 needs to be powered, you might find what you're looking for here.

I bought the Anker and it works great on SSB on my Xiegu G90 and look forward to using it for CW and SSB on my KX3. Love your videos!!! That Anker was a great rec, i may purchase a second!!

I bought the Anker following your advice. Unfortunately, sound in SSB is awfull. The background noise is translated into something like an airplane noise. In CW it is OK (less noise). In Bluetooth, no problem... UPDATE. I have to turn AFX OFF ! With AFX OFF sound in SSB is fixed !...

I bought the Anker Bluetooth speaker off of Amazon a while back for the reasons you mention and have been very happy with it. I take it with me when I go portable. The battery life is good and the sound quality is much better than the internal speaker on my Xiegu x6100. - Good Video - Thanks for doing the review on external speakers!

Great video. So I own a KX2 and this was helpful to me as well, and I will now try a speaker attached to the Aux of my KX2. My only issue is when my amp, KXPA100 is attached I need the aux for that and I believe you do as well, both of your Aux inputs for the amp. I really like your Begali key, very nice....

I want to know what is the paddle you have connected to your kx3. I have a KX2 and that paddle looks nice.

Try the juice bass go speaker, youll never use another speaker!!
