I met Dave around 20 years ago. It was my first time in atlanta and he and boy were the first people i met when i got here at a random gas station. He actually held me down from the first 5 minutes of meeting him. It's a long story, but no one has ever shown me this much kindness and never knew who I was. God bless him, his family, and all loved ones!!! I went to the viewing but my heart couldn't take the service. I'll never forget his generosity!

Lost my lil brother in February 23’, literally felt everything Bank said in this one. Went through every emotion, denial, shock, disbelief, sadness, and like he said confusion. Just wanted bro back, would’ve gave myself to get him back. Hated seeing the ppl who loved him like I did like that. Gotta remember they still with us though. LLDAVE 🕊️
Y’all know y’all the first to do this if I’m not mistaking on a public platform. This helped me understand the grief I still deal with, with my mother and baby brother. Bigfacts y’all made me love y’all a long time ago. Rest in peace to that sweet soul Dave. Y’all, 1 day at a time.

It’s always the real ones that hurt the worst. It’s supposed to hurt when some you love is not with you no more. I lost my main man Wali down here in Savannah some years back , the one that was that light for our community I still haven’t recovered yet but one day we will. Wish y’all well and stay strong.
Man i didn't know DuctTape Dave personally, nor do i know any of the Big Facts fam personally, but through music and keeping my ear to the streets with any and everything hip-hop i can tell bro was a good dude. The Big Facts podcast is more than just a podcast, its like extended family. I love all yall! I wish everyone ready this nothing but peace and prosperity from now until eternity... One love!
