@@damjanp7920AiC is good. QoTSA is next level though. They transcend rock. AiC is nineties, QoTSA is timeless. QoTSA is like Kyuss (and Elvis) but way better and Kyuss is one of the best bands ever. QoTSA is meant to be played way too loud. Their sound is legendary. It's like Elvis plus a couple decades in the desert.

I remember the first time I heard this album. It had been out about 6 months and my mate was raving about. I was so blown away by how stupendous it was. I was terrified that any future album would disappoint me. Thank god I was wrong. What a fucking band. What a set of albums. I genuinely love everything they have done.

I used to walk by these cats in the halls of Palm Desert High School. I had PE with Nick. I never did have an opportunity to talk to Josh or John Garcia. I spoke to Brant and Alfredo a couple times. I hung out with Jesse Hughes a few times and jammed with him. I was always at the skating rink where Jesse worked. I attended a generator gig in the Indio Hills and it sounded HEAVY out there! It's pretty wild and kind of neat to watch these cats become famous.....good for them! Rock on, fellas!
That's pretty rad man. Going to one of those fabled generator gigs back in the day would've been pretty damn cool.

Jesus this song is criminally under appreciated by the masses. I missed seeing QOTSA perform in a small venue (50 to 100 seats) after a Foo Fighters concert in Dallas. I thought the guy was scalping, nope selling tickets to one of my favorite bands 🤦♂️
It's like early Sabbath with a post-punk, post-grunge hangover chaser. But this hangover's worth it. Mexicola closes out the century in style. This album had me at Regular John. Decades later you still can't quit me. Baby. It's pronounced "Mommy".
