The “mysterious oyster” is actually a baby oyster! Also known as oyster spat. New oysters grow on the shells of existing oysters and then eventually grow large enough to detach or stay connected forming an oyster reef.
The child in me smiled when a Woman named "Ariel" gets 20 oysters for a pearl necklace. I really like the cranberry colored ones.

I've opened oysters before they just smell like the sea when you open them but if you leave them open or dont throw them out they do smell bad and heck yeah I would love to have her job

Have others noticed that all of the twins in the last few nights openings have all been from really dried out oysters? I do love these pearls and their openings.
That's because the pearls are sucking up all the moisture to become even more beautiful
My guess is that they've had the twin pearl oysters in their stock longer than their single pearl oysters.

If I had the money I'd buy a ton of them and keep them all in a jar. When I'm bored I'd dump them all out and sort them by color :D Maybe that sounds weird but I have ocd and the most satisfying thing in the world is sorting things lol

They are expensive. I did this in California. Five dollars an oyster on the wharf . I got a silver pearl and a white pearl had a beautiful ring made for one hundred dollars.
