Here he concedes he was the crazier one, & she ends up "meeting" his crazy by helping him find himself again which makes her just as crazy as him with the narrative that she has to be crazy to love him given how screwed up he is. Pat will never "beat" his crazy, & Tiffany will never ask him to. She loves him anyway. It's one of the purest love confessions of all time. Some say happily ever after is finding people that can co-exist with our lunacy, not lead us out of it.
