I'm an American-Hispanic and I'm happy Trump mentioned our jobs. We tend to get lost in these conversations. It's an acknowledgement that legal Hispanics exist in the USA and illegal immigration puts our jobs at risk too.

I get the " good for you!" comments after they ask what I do for a living. Like I struggled or something. I grew up in the middle class and my Dad bought me a car to drive back and forth to school. Also, I worked at the same time because Dad made that expectation clear to me and my brothers from birth that he wasn't going to subsidize our lifestyle after we came of age. I agree with the assessment that a tax credit should be based on income rather than simply race. Not only does this help people who are truly in need, but it doesn’t flame racial tensions that a credit based solely on race would.

I think the tax credit would be both income and race I assume but it’s still going to cause racial tensions. The democrats bottom up approach sounds nice on paper but there’s usually a reason that someone is at the bottom. No amount of tax credits is going to fix high crime, illiteracy rates, divorce rates, single mother households, no belief in a higher power. All the things that have allowed other races to get ahead in America while black Americans have been declining since the 1960s.

I absolutely love your family!! I started following your dad back when i stumbled across his reactions to Tom MacDonald. I found him genuine and honest and FUNNY as hell. So when he went on his journey of just being willing to watch other things that didn’t align with where he was at the time politically was impressive. Him allowing us to watch his journey AND he taught me things I didn’t know. Seeing you as a young man also educating yourself on all the rhetoric thrown at the young folks to know what is true and what isn’t and then making your OWN decision. I support your right to believe what you believe and to support who you choose but I am happy to see more and more young people waking up to things that they had no idea was even happening.

Where is everyone else's 10K tax credit for buying a new home? This is buying votes and quite honestly this system should not be in place period, regardless of race! However, he is targeting a certain race to keep votes.

"The choice in childcare" Is spend $2000+ a month per child, or stay at home and raise them while running a hobby business as your husband goes out to work. If you don't make over $2,000 a month then it's cheaper to stay home than pay for a babysitter. Remember, the chart shows the “rate” of inflation. What is the cumulative number?
The issue with answering that is that the inflation rate is the measured by the rate of the increase in prices. The rate is the percent change in prices from a year before. So finding a "cumulative number" would be finding the percent change in average prices since Biden took office (19.316% since January 2021) but it's still a rate. There isn't technically a number for inflation because it is by definition a rate. (for comparison the inflation from Jaunary 2017 until Jaunary 2021 or the entirety of Trump's presidency is 7.758% so less than half what Biden's was, and for the entirety of Obama's presidency was 14.95% still less than Biden despite being twice as long).

How do they actually determine unemployment? Based on people claiming benefits? Because there would be no accuracy in that... if someone runs out and is still unemployed they wouldnt be counted. Also even if the rate of inflation goes from 10 to 1, the 10 still happened and the 1 is actually 1.1 from the initial value because of the previous 10. We're around 30-40% inflation from 2020.
Trump said he would do away with tax on tips. Anyone in the service industry can double their income if tips are not taxed. Especially restaurants that tax you on amount of food sales even if you didn’t make 20% tip on it. That’s a major win for servers, hotel staff, anyone making tips that are taxed.
By saying “black” or “white” it’s segregation. This is why we the people will never make any difference. You can’t say you want equality and then use terms like black or white.

Introducing shop classes in high schools could greatly benefit communities by providing non-college-bound students with valuable skills. This would offer all students a viable path to earn a living. Graduating with a trade can lead to substantial earnings and be life-altering.
The issue is you also need to get admin to stop viewing these programs as a place where "failures" go. The school I went to used welders, plumbers and electricians as supposed cautionary tales while offering those programs.

What I've wondered since Biden took office is: when does it become his fault? There's a big emphasis on a president's first 100 days in office. In those first 100 days, he's essentially learning the ropes, and enacting policies to hopefully try to deliver on campaign promises. I can understand that three months isn't a very long time for us to see big changes in America, and that we'd still be seeing the lingering effects of the previous president's regime, for good or for ill. Yet, I remember a lot of the time if something went wrong, Trump was always to blame. Not Biden, who was the current president. Trump, who was the former president. Whether or not that was true, a good leader takes responsibility for failures, no matter which side of the political aisle they take. It's not a sin to admit to failure.
People are picking Trumps argument apart by saying things like “what is a black job, I’ve never seen a black farmer or a black roofer”. First of all I have and second he’s referring to cities where there is a high population of black people, who would be filling the job market. It’s not just jobs either, people can’t go to a food bank and get supplies because the immigrants are prioritized for the citizens. One lady in New York, relies on a food bank to supplement her thanks giving dinners and last year she couldn’t get anything.

I voted Trump over biden the last time because I saw a possibility of him being senile and I simply can't vote for someone who would SUFFER as president...and you saw the result. Government should support and protect life, not encourage people to abuse themselves. Look at anchor babies alone and see where protecting that practice got us, and how many have been hurt in a plethora of ways over it. I know what you're saying and where you're coming from when you say to give incentives for marriage. I mean there already are SOME incentives, like in terms of taxes and medical insurance and things like that. But you have to be careful throwing out social programs for marriage because you'll see a rise in marriages for the social incentive then a rise in divorce when it either stops or when two incompatible people who rushed into marriage for the incentives can't stand eachother anymore. I don't want to offend anyone, but this was something that happened in the gay community as well. When a state changes from gays can't marry to they can, they all rushed out and got married and then you have to wonder how many are STILL married? Anecdotally, I watched my sister do that exact thing when California legalized gay marriage years ago. Now, I'd be in favor of free counciling for married couples, newly married to help prepare for what's to come and possible struggles AND struggling married couples that need the help, but can't afford the cost for therapy.
Inflation happened immediately after Buden closed the oil pipelines. Instantly fuel prices climbed causing everything else to inflate except wages.
Inflation was global and worse in every comparable country, and US oil production and net exports remain at an all time high.

You're misunderstanding Biden's point on inflation. He's saying inflation was low the day he took office because we still had ~6.5% unemployment and much of the economy hadn't gotten moving again from peak COVID. Inflation is something that occurred worldwide largely due to due to crunches in global supply chains, and in fact was worse in all other G7 countries.
The American Rescue Plan Biden signed into law had a large impact on inflation.
you know what I can believe what you said is true. You know what else? I got 0 of that from Biden. If he can't communicate that more reasonable approach on inflation instead of lying that he had 0 inflation then he has no shot.
Our inflation was primarily due to printing money for relief bills, we were less impacted by supply chain as other g7 countries. Yes, we would have still had inflation, but not like we did. Align the inflation graph to the timing of every money printing bill passed, you can't lower the value of the dollar by flooding the economy with more of them and be shocked when the dollar is worth less.
