It looks to me like there are a lot of sticks for the size of the dam. Thats like putting rebar in concrete. Sometimes you work your a$$ off and sometimes you get a collapse.....while working your a$$ off. Great job!

SVEIKI to the Petrosius gang of Palanga. There are lots of sticks on this one so you get a little work out. The underdam leak was a bit strange you would think the beavers would plug that. Of course if you knock down a dam that was hiding it that could be the reason they didnt mess with it.
Here you go repairing the dam before it starts falling apart. You got waterfall, fall apart, and collapse in one dam. It was tough dam to bust

Just an idea. What if you could break both sides of a dam with large hook (triangle?) and manual winch anchored to a tree or ground, to pull this hook through the dam? If you break both sides, maybe it will collapse by itself?

Suggest next time making another longer video with all the small dams and then the major dam. This will increase your views, and people can decide to watch the longer one or just the main video.
The beavers are having meetings and thinking up ways to make you work harder. So all dams will be more mud, less sticks.
these are some very experienced beavers who built this dam with outstanding materials They had that mud packed in like concrete ,I can see why it would not collapse
Follow the 'leak', keep making it bigger, the results can be spectacular. A shovel might have worked better to cut the sticks and grass out of the dam rather than trying to pull it out with a rake.
When you break up a damn such as this, a lot goes downstream with the flow, does it ever collect somewhere below and create another blockage or damn?
