    From my very own experience DO NOT BREATHE THROUGH THE BRAIN! I screwed myself up and literally years later I STILL struggle with it and suffer neurotic sensations that have only eased with time!

      I too have experienced the efficacy of this method of deep slow breathing, through chakras or points of discomforts/ pain and a chanting of OM with it is a splendid process.

    In working with elements and vital force in hermetics you are never supposed to accumulate in either the heart or the head alone, but accumulating in the whole chest is ok. Its sort of like a tube in a tire. With the tire, the tube has something to press against and support and keep its shape when inflated, but if you inflate just the tube, it will expand and stretch and possibly deform or pop. The head has no surrounding "tire" to support in accumating and so the energetic expansion/pressure can cause harm. I imagine its the same kind of mechanism with breathing prana through the brain.

    In the documentary, E-motion, one of the doctors had fractured his hip. And there was a sizeable gap in the bone. He convinced his personal doctor to wait on surgery while he tried something. Over the course of two weeks he imagined using a caulk gun to fill in the gap with liquid bone. Two weeks later they took fresh x-rays and his doctor was astonished to find new bone growth in the gap.

    Such a neat video, thanks for uploading. I just recently got a sense for breathing through the chakras intuitively and it's so much fun. Really does add a bit of power on top of just chanting om into them. I notice the breath seems to automatically go into HRV during this process.

    Nice one. Totally agree about the brain. I know somebody who used a "shortcut" in the microcosmic orbit and it didn't turn out well for them. Not quite psychosis, but not a good thing. (Instead of up and over (ba hui) they hung a left at Albuquerque (gv 18) and went straight on through to the front of the head to link up with the yin pathway)

    Namaste Forrest ji. Once I started meditation with om japa and i got tranquil breath while doing the japa(just for few moments). Also om japa through medulla induced the natural shambhavi mudra. But now when i omm through the chakra the body shakes very strongly especially around the belly region. I sometimes feel a lot of energy in the body which sometimes disturbs me instead of improving my meditation.

      That's a Kundalini reaction as the subconscious and conscious integrate.

    Very nice video, Thank you very much for it. I just wanted to ask if you could describe the HA breath a bit more, but you already did that in one of your videos - Perfect! Personally I'm still rather on the lucid dreaming path, but using that HA breath during the day seems to make me a bit more aware too. Have a nice day!

    I love this! Do we need to be careful above the medula if we are trying to use this practice for healing? Say for example pain or skin damage on the scalp.

      I would charge the hands first so breathe into the hands putting energy into the hands and then lay them on the skin in that case.

    I still don't understand the third node purpice of stage in meditation.
    I got it with the trankil breath treaning on the first second time just started.
    It's seem deep already but where are we in the road of the 8 path is there a sort of scale.
    I don't want to touch the doom zone yet.

    Hi, my whole body reverberates, chanting om. From head to toe ,is it detrimental. Please clarify.
    And in the Bhagavad Gita Shri Krishna explains. " The Yogi offers the exhaled breath to inhaled breath and vice versa. Releasing the life force from the heart. Bringing it under his control" . As a form of kriya yoga, which i felt very beneficial. Kindly explain the difference from the kriya as taught by Shri Lahiri mahasaya.

      That is just fine because you are not actively breathing through the brain. That's what I'm warning against. ... Spinal Breathing is okay. That's the beginning. OM Japa is the next level which he gave to his students. 🪷🙏

    when i breath i feel energy come in root charkra and 3rd eye so then on out breath it goes up and out crown so im am breathing throught brain what are problems with this i do cagery modra with tounge up nasal

    So when doing om japa, it's ok to accompany the practice with breathing into all the chakras except the medulla?

      Breathing through the brain caused Forrest problems, from what I understand, scanning the road as one should for safe driving caused him to feel dizziness which made driving potentially very dangerous, the medulla oblongata is the lower part of the brainstem.

      12:30 - "From that point [medulla] down we can breathe through the body..."
      You DO Japa into the Medulla, just don't go any higher.

    What if someone had brain trauma,will it be wise to breath through the brain for a limited amount of time?

      It would usually multiply the problems. So if you had brain trauma and you were trying to heal it by laying on of hands, then I would charge the hands with energy as I show in this example, and simply lay them on the head. That way you would allow for the healing energy without having to breathe through the brain. Healthy oils are also very good for the brain and antioxidants are healing for all of the soft tissue very quickly especially when we take a lot of antioxidants.
