Seeing as you asked for suggestions, there are a few other fine songs from the same Albert Hall concert (2000) to which you may want to react eventually, namely: “Tuesday Afternoon”, another classic Moody Blues song “English Sunset” where Justin Hayward shows off a brief but nifty little guitar solo “Legend of a Mind” featuring the inimitable Ray Thomas on vocals. Thank you for featuring this wonderful band. What a rich musical legacy they've left behind... ❤
i want to be listening to the full 8 minute studio version of this song as i pass into the next unknown. their music has been a huge part of my life since 1968. dont know which version of Nights you did but the best live version is from this concert or the full studio version with the spoken word in it
I’d have to go back and double check which version I did, not sure if it was from this concert or not but if not I would probably use the version from this. And, I would definitely include the spoken part Late Lament, that is a definite must for Nights in White Satin!
This is just the best arrangement of this song IMO. Really uplifting, the drums as they go into the chorus, love it. Andy UK
