    I love this series! Also, my favorite steam locomotive Boston and Maine P4 #3713, Named “The Constitution”, doesn’t have its original tender. It has one of it’s class’s tender #3714. The 3713’s tender and the engine 3714 were scraped. So, The B&M decided to pair up 3713 with 3714’s tender for (I believe snow-melting service) in 1956 and then later, use “The Constitution” to pull their Farewell To Steam Excursion. The engine is now being restored at Steamtown National Historical Site in Scranton, PA for excursion service

    Your pacing has improved quite a bit this time around! The story felt well told and I never found myself bored. In all, a great third episode!

    I hope we see episode 4 soon, it's been 6 months since we've last seen a new video from you and I am very eager to see what happens next in this series of yours!

      Sorry about that, work and life for all of us on the TRTD crew was and still is strenuous, but we're trying to keep up the love we still have for it.

    Well that was a pretty grim episode. Looks like the poor little switcher learned his lesson the hard way.

    I just found this series and am impressed, so far! Looking forward to what's to come.
    If you ever need voice actors, I'm open for a chance. Otherwise, I'll just keep enjoying this series.

    Wow, what a tragic end for Carson. I wonder if that was him speaking after the accident...

    • @Loudmouth1934
      @Loudmouth1934 5 месяцев назад +1

      Yup! the plans were for Carson to haunt the gulch, more towards what was called Carson's Curve where there is now an oil refinery. Plan was the penultamte where all the original locos save for John Henry and 7 are retired/scrapped and 4 refuses to give in. Taking a way too big train that was meant for some of the diesels down the gulch and having a nasty accident at Carsons curve, hadnt decided it Carsons ghost saved him or caused him the accident, but led to his 'retirement' leaving 7 the only Diamond Cutter blue loco in service.

      What with life and work for most of us on the crew, it's strenuous to say when work is complete but we're still going on with it! I promise.

    What would have happened if Carson City hadn’t runaway?

    • @Loudmouth1934
      @Loudmouth1934 5 месяцев назад

      He would have been one of the first locos retired to the museum due to small stature or sold to one of the logging lines like what happened to Mason. And likely they wouldnt have bought a new number 4, which has never been introduced, but was another 4-4-0 but bigger than John or Ben.

    When I saw this i dropped building a 2-8-2 in gmod

  • @Mascot_Mike01

    May I ask. Why did you choose to use Gmod instead of Trainz or Train Simulator to make your series?

    • @DeanNickChase
      @DeanNickChase 6 лет назад +2

      They wished to use Gmod because there wasn't a Gmod railroad series before, to my knowledge.

    • @Loudmouth1934
      @Loudmouth1934 5 лет назад

      One reason is when was the last time someone saw a good GMod series and also how many Trainz series are there out there? I always wanted to stay a cut above the rest and with GMod there no nonsense in having to 3D model most stuff, just place a prop and go! Always felt more hands on as if doing it with models in real life.
