It's from "The Drowsy Chaperone" ;)

I think the first time he did it was the best. I think Jack studied the character and the song very well. Besides, I think that too much "touching" and "retouching" harms the whole number. Of course, if you don't mind my saying . . .

@@bigred8432 I agree that he was probably best the first time, but Seth gave valuable advice that he can take home and work into his performance. And I think an actor has to be ready for ‘suggestions’ from who they are auditioning for.
“That was great. Do it again, just like that, but just a little bit angrier.”
You get shit like that a lot. Don’t let it throw you. Make it a little ‘angrier’ if you can, but above all keep if funny.

My only complaint here is "Ah-DAHL-fo" vs a longer "A" sound. Seth is saying it the proper way but doesn't correct the student's vowel sound. Makes me a little bit crazy. But I'm a huge Seth fan, generally. He really has a good balance of practical technical work with "internal" acting work.
Also, though, this is a wildly inappropriate song for this student except if he's auditioning for a very narrow range of roles. This kid would be far better served by "Tonight at 8" or "Grow For Me", or hell for drama, even "Drink With Me" or the like. What role would he possibly be using this song to audition for? He clearly has talent, and it's always worth learning songs you would never actually sing on stage, but if this is an audition masterclass, this song would be a terrible choice.

He's great here, but he really screwed-up Idina Menzel when she sang for Barbra Streisand at her Kennedy Center Honor induction.
