- Decided to compare the V Striker Tins from Gamestop and Walmart. Apparently the booster pack assortment are totally different from the pokemon community. I've been opening alot of V Striker Tins from Gamestop that has 2x Evolving Skies and nothing less.

I actually saw a video where someone bought a tin for 15$ at GameStop and there were 2 brilliant and 3 evolving inside
Wow. That's a really good tin! I made another video comparing gamestop and walmart v striker tin, and I can def say these pack assortments are different at gamestop for some reason.

I had some stores recently restocked on them locally. But you're best bet is on gamestop online. I heard though they sold now. They were in stock for a good 3 weeks online for 14.99. Sorry you missed out. I'll keep you updated on good deals.

I have a question for you. What are your thoughts about keeping the GS tins sealed for future value? It seems like most from GS will have the Evolving Skies packs but some may not have them. My thought process is should I open all the GS tins I have and just keep the loose packs sealed that way? I’m trying to determine which would be better for future value. Obviously knowing what you have when you open the tins won’t change but loose pack values could be less than sealed over time I think?
Very good questions. As an investor side, sealed products are the way to go long term, but for 14.99, and not knowing if it'll have evolving skies, it's best to open it up and definitely sell every single pack within the tin to make a profit. Just alot more products to sale vs just 1 tin. Very subjective. Remember, the GS tin has 2x evolving skies plus 3 random. To invest in it, you have to sale the 3x random packs to make profit. The 2x evolving skies already pays the 14.99 tin. Potential profits comes from selling the random 3x packs. Hope this helps.

All I've gotten from Walmart with the barcode 6781 have had 2 brilliant and 3 evolving
I remember those tins. Man those were the best tins. I still have v striker tins at that time where they have 3 evolving skies. Currently sealed

Ordered 2 from a store, they both had the same pack assortment, which was 3 evolving skies, and 2 brilliant stars.
Now that I've open them for 2 different stores, it's a hit and miss. I did open alot of v striker tins and always got 2 evolving skies. This is the 1st time that one of the tins from gamestop had 5 brilliant stars. Even walmart had 5 brilliant stars in a tin...

I'm glad we're in the same boat! Yes, it's so enjoyable knowing you can buy a pokemon product regardless what set it is, for cheap per booster pack. I love sharing deals going on in a weekly basis. I had good one for crown zenith, but with a busy schedule, it's hard to pumped these videos out haha. I enjoy making these videos for subscribers like you. Cheers!
