I just picked it up for the ps4 I'm 49 and its brought back my gaming addiction. 6am yesterday morning playing till lol

Glad I waited and bought the GOTY version on PS4. Freaked me out when the voice came through my controller. Really cool feature though.
Funny thing. I've bought the GOTY edition in 2019 and now, in the PS Store, all the DLCs as well as the GOTY edition, are appearing as I need to buy them (again). Sony really needs to sort it out with their crappy store!

I loved this game but it had so many issues last time I played it was very glitchy and some crashes would happen on multiplayer that were crazy glitches..I get slammed into.. on the other person's screen they just drive by me as if nothing happened yet I looked like I got destroyed in my screen...hopefully that is fixed

Just bought this edition of the game not played it yet as i am sort of addicted to assetto corsa It will be interesting to see how this compares to corsa I am on ps4 and using a thrustmaster T150 for the price a fabulous wheel I have added the Thrustmaster TH8A manual shifter and a set of Thrustmaster TH3PA pedals so i have a proper clutch In assetto this set up is as close to driving the car as you can get Thanks for uploading the video it does look a great game I am sure it will steal a lot of hours of my life . If only i can stop my Assetto addiction
I've just grabbed a Logitech G29 wheel and pedals and PCars and AC are both a very steep learning curve! Very happy I have both, but wow, tough :)
those that have the standard Project Cars and all other DLC only need to DL the Pagani Pack DLC there is no need to get the GOTY version then
Just go to the store page on steam and it'll show you what you need to purchase to have the full game.

The only thing I wish is when you go to view info on a car it would let you scroll through all the cars in that view without having to back out to view another.

If I would like more Tuning, I buy Forza.... And If I like to mod, I buy Srockcar Racing Experience....
Why Project Cars?
I agree GT and forza are the kings of the racing sim but what makes project cars worth supporting Project CARS, which stands for Community Assisted Racing Simulator, was made for a total sum of $5 million.vFunding for the game was raised by the community and the developers themselves. With support this game could possibly one of the best sims racers out there. When you think of the cost involved in putting particular brand of cars in the game Project cars has done really well to continue to improve the game. i remember it took many many years even for Gran truismo to be able to have Ferrari and lambo :) just my two cents but i agree i do much prefer the other racing sims out there but this game does show allot of promise. Biggest down fall is no new racers to comp in.
ive spent close to a thousand hours on project cars,luv it 2 pieces. forza 6, total disappointment, its so much more orientated to arcade racing. as far as consoles the only, and I mean only car game that can be classed as a racing sim is p' cars. tho theres a couple of others coming soon which may change things.

Why not just add the country to the location of the tracks too.. I dunno guess it don't matter :D but anyway I think I'm gonna pick this up, I really like the MX-5 like when you put your "foot down" it just goes and you can feel it like for real and you really hafty work to keep it on the road!! and the tracks seem nice too like the Scotland one
I'll be getting this GOTY edition for sure. The Nordschleife 12 odd mile track is on the standard edt but not sure it has all the variations. This game is awesome. All I know is the next Gran Tourismo is gonna need to be flawless to beat this. I bet they design for Neo, which will really piss me off as I've not long had my PS4!!!

+The Games Shed oh yeah,another thing that PCars beats GT on; go-karts. I loved the introduction of kart racing in GT6 but then Project Cars ups the ante with Super Karts, which is really fun at driving. I love that they have the UK touring car tracks on PCars too!
Don't forget that super powerful kart that can outrun supercars

my favorite car is the Austin Martin V12 Vantage GT3. Love how the car handles and it stops on a dime.

Too bad they added no more cars in the first edition. Zuhai was to host the Chinese Gp, but Ecclestone did not accept it and they had to build a brand new facility.
I passed a lot of time in my Ginetta G55 GT4, i love it really much. Another thing is i had to spend a lot of time in it because the championships are reeeeaaaallly long here. Also i love very much the Palmer Jaguar JP-LM,very fast and very easy to drive

After watching the video I find it a little odd that you loved the game and played it for months but think loads of the stuff is new and it isn't lol However this is good video for people new to the game to see all the content
+Pisshead 30 As said in the video, I was just reading the pr sheet and what bandai stated as new. Check the official pcars site to see what I mean. I have also never purchased any of the DLC for the original.

Bought the goty version today. Great game but was absolutely gutted when I realized there were no nissans. Eg. Gtr and silvias in rocket bunny and other specs. Absolutely buzzing we have the radbull and gt86 rocket bunny though

Project cars on PC with Clubsport v2 setup and triple screens. Gotta go with the Zakspeed Capri. Great video but you left out a few great tracks because you didn't scroll all the way to the top when you named them.
Nürgbergring is in the standard version.

I have the original game and bought all the dlc up until the goty release, all I had to do was buy the nurburgring dlc to match the goty edition. I personally am very frustrated by the game as so many times ive been playing it and the game froze and through me out to the psn blue screen. Touch wood it hasn't done it lately so hopefully patch 10 has cured the problem. The only new cars are the 2 paganis the rest were all available in the original game or by purchasing the dlc
The Zonda Revolucion is not Project CARS exclusive, it was in GRID 2 and GRID Autosport.

Those games are not from the same generation.
is there a setting in project cars where you can have the camera view turn into the corners?
Yes, you have a notch that goes from 1-100 (or 120 I can't remember) in how pronounced the camera turns. There's settings for the high-speed shake, how much the camera shakes over bumps, how much the camera not just turns into the corner, but how much it tilts/leans as well. You can adjust the seat forward/backward/up/down, how 'loose' or 'stiff' your virtual arms are, etc. This game is as fucking real as it gets.

I'm looking to get this game on XB1. Didn't by the normal pcars as i kept hearing conflicting reviews, considering this game has all the dlc cars and is around £30 I've decided to get it.

Don't buy the crew,Also wait for GT Sport it has more tracks and cars than any other car sim.Also you can try assetto corsa.
