@@ohno6528 Always keeping hope that somehow, someway, they'll come back. Its a very common way to deal with trauma and grief especially during war. One of my grandparents always had a hope that his best friend would come back from vietnam. My grandpa made it back, but his childhood bestfriend was MIA, and even to his death he really thought his best friend would walk in through the door.

This always makes me cry once I realized how many to this day might still be waiting, and never giving up hope even after almost 80 years....
