@@lldjslim - well, so what? The engine only needs to last a few seconds, then it gets replaced. Same as for top fuel drag racing. As long as it blows after the finish line, that's all that they care about.
It that fact that the engines are being pushed to the absolute extreme the amount of boost/nitros and high revs it’s a recipe for dead engines and drive line parts hahahahaha
Here I am, listening to my goverment who tries to convince me about selling my car due to climate change. Meanwhile, somewhere in the middle east... This is awesome.
Climate change is the fakest thing I’ve ever heard. And even if it is real (it’s not) it’s not because of us citizens using our gas cars. That’s like a tiny fraction of the real carbon footprint out there (Chinese factories, the ocean degassing from the depths within, volcanic activity, etc)
The wheelie at 17:23 was impressive, run under 6 secs even after pedalling! At least there is plenty of sand to absorb the massive amounts of oil that most competitors drop after blowing their engines! 😄
Glad your back making videos you were one of the first people ever on RUclips to show car races and rare car footage you don’t get enough credit for being the leader

I absolutely love these races.... before I leave this earth, I must fly out and watch one of these in the desert with a little fire pit and some good food for everyone, and I can travel from trailer to trailer on camel back, it would be glorious 👌 Now, a side note, that dude throwing a rod through the side of his block, and _STILL_ racing up that hill until it finally locked up 2 passes after 🤣😎
They should invite some of those guys from Iceland who do the hillclimb racing and see how they stack up against each other. That would be something to see.
I don't think any of us realize just how hard it is to go fast uphill from a dead stop on sand. Those engines are PUSHIN'. Probably why we see so many fail. Not because their bad, but because they're strung out to the max and the sand is just so hard on the engines.
Awesome video. The ORC Toyota is a hill killer. Dude has got the power to the ground down. Is that the same truck that had the number 27 on it a few years ago. I want a t-shirt with that truck and driver on it

Holy shit! That truck #501 was hauling ass!! 😊👍🏻
hell ya,,,, he ripped up that hill without hesitation.... love the Hilux category ,,,, light wight and huge tires n torque
Indeed.
As was the #509.
You got that right bro..that thing FLEW UP THAT HILL
Fantastic coverage of this Event. 👍👍
Always great to see what difference paddled tyres make
Thanks Peter
That 4 cylinder was a beast 😂and that quicker 4,50 run was on a ride too the 🌙 like a rocket
That HILUX at 8.14 is tops💪💪💪chevy v8 power.

I say F*ck climate change, the planet will do as the planet pleases. The electric sh!t on the road are more of an issue, fact 💯

Saw that 4.654 truck run up that hill after 3 attempts….I said WHAT!!!!!!!???? Holy cow man…what a frik’n run!!
There are a lot of them
I think because we love this thing
Love the other country horse power builds. Completely different culture making insane power other than LS/LT and Coyote builds.
Most of them are the same though. Single cam pushrod V8's based off an LS. Lol

Some very interesting stuff motors are through the roof with rpms
Saudi roll this hill 💪
These folks build some amazing engines. They don't really seem too big on aesthetics though.
Lol amazing engines... Oh please an amazing engine is an engine that "Dosent blow up" for starters.
Edit: OK so there are some that don't blow

Check out formula offroad on youtube.. you wont regret it.

Surely there becomes a point where the torque exceeds the grips, meaning no matter how many more horses you run, you're limited by your tyres.

These off-roaders go faster uphill than what my vehicle goes downhill.

No air cleaners; real bright bunch.
They’d rather have a few extra hp and replace turbos every event. Money is no object for these guys.

10:44 3RZ-FE or probably stroked even more
How many hp are these things running? Those V8 nitrous machines really took off like rockets
