My youngest son had multiple life threatening food allergies growing up and just smelling peanut butter would give him an anaphylactic reaction. He has outgrown most of them, thankfully. He couldn't even leave our home without careful planning and there was still risk. He is 32 now 😊. Much love from Wilsonville Oregon
The peanut allergies is not the smell but the fact it can be airborne and cause a severe allergy.... you can still have a reaction not even.smelling the peanut butter
Fish, sauerkraut, brussel sprouts, cabbage soup, pickled veggies or eggs. Anything that has the potential to give you gas. That spicy jerky is going to have a different odor than a sweet jerky. I think some things definitely depend on flavors.
I would be afraid to get sick on a plane🙈 what Hannah said, Parfums 😱 some or so terrible! But food wise... fish I think, is the worse smell. No I know something worse.... those France cheese, they smell at worse stinking feet🤢 love from the Netherlands 💜
I'm allergic to soaps & deodorants. I end up with painful rashes. And if someone has strong deodorant on, it triggers my allergies & sometimes my migraines. The best thing to do, which is actually basic hygiene, is wash/shower with warm water & use talc before going into an enclosed space. With talc, you don't need to use deodorant. It does the same thing without triggering allergies (as long as it's unscented).
I love corn nuts especially the bbq flavor. Myself I only tear the corner off . Less smell . I only open most chips /snacks enough to get one or two out at a time
My roommate in college would eat kimchi in our dorm room…I dry heaved right out of our room. I used to buy corn nuts (nacho cheese or ranch flavor) and if the others in the car didn’t eat one the smell bugged them so badly, but if I would share with everyone it wasn’t as bad for the others.
I think the smell factor on most of these foods "stinking" is relative. Crystal you tend to be a picky eater so naturally you are adverse to most food smells that you don't eat on a regular basis. Common sense is all that is needed when it comes to bringing food on an airplane.
Perfume/Cologne Not on an airplane but in a rehab hospital. I was in physical therapy and they put my wheelchair next to a patient that had so much cologne on that it threw me into an asthma attack. They even moved me to another part of the room and they had to get me out of that room and called the respiratory therapist. Last year I was in the hospital with pneumonia and the nurse sent to do my respiratory therapy had on a scent that was taking my breath away and I was trying to not breathe. I never said anything to her but to my head nurse. 😢 I have to be very careful of what scents I am around and some people bathe in it . I can’t even go into a candle shop. So please, please be very careful of how much you put on and be aware of those around you. Thx and love your family.
I agree. Some colognes can set off an asthma attack too. When I went to PT, they had a sign that said it was a fragrance free facility. I was so grateful.

"Just be aware of the people around you." Long time fan here - I love all of the Crazy families and their channels. I have, however, found myself cringing many times when the Crazy Pieces fam travels and stays in hotels because of their hallway shenanigans (running, yelling, etc.). There are people behind those doors, y'all (who may be trying to rest, may be in town for medical treatment, may be there to attend a funeral, etc.). Yes, please be aware of the people around you. Just sayin' (with love).
That’s absolutely ridiculous. They are children bottom line. If they have some extra Energy in the halls that’s absolutely fine. People that have issues with children need to stay home. That’s gonna happen no matter what. And it’s not like they are running around at three in the morning when others are sleeping. Just stop. You clearly are Karen and that’s embarrassing in its self.
@@Holly-yz7xlthere are children in ho have to travel out of states for medical reasons. I had a procedure done out of state and ended up sleeping most of the day after surgery once
Most hotels they stay in (higher end) are sound proofed enough it shouldn't be a factor. It's only lower end it's an issue with but kids should be expected to behave like adults, especially during the day. Would you complain if a baby was crying and you heard it? Same things for kids laughing. That said, parents should remind their kids to be respectful of others sleeping at night, which I have heard Crystal do on camera, so either way, I'm not sure why you feel the need to say this.
@@LisaDCrews well then those children better not make any kind of noise. No crying if they are pain. And no crutches cause those make noise as well. Just stop reaching and wanting to bitch just to bitch it’s embarrassing.
Fresh broccoli, cauliflower and brussels sprouts all can smell like dirty socks! LOL!! Now, with that said I love all 3 especially roasted but the smell is defiantly something that can turn off people on a plane or in a car. I work in a school cafeteria so we have these things often but let me tell you...preparing will defiantly wake you up! And yes, the kid at the school I work at LOVE when we roast these items (even the sprouts). We lucked out with kids (K-6) that appreciate these things (compared to just throwing in a steamer) and a kitchen manager willing to do the extra! The smells though...whew!! Amazing anyone eats them! LOL! OH and Fritos! Actually are chips I buy often but...have your kids eat some Fritos and then come talk to to you. Even just open the bag near you. Maybe this one is just me.
Thank you for your concern. However, we don't know that they're or aren't going to eat it. With all of the family's dietary needs, I'm sure they know what they should and shouldn't have. I would highly recommend refraining from these types of comments/recommendations unless they ask. Not everyone has to live the same way.
Yeah and they don't taste as good as jif.. we tried switch and all the natural one.. it get oil and you have to wait to use it and mix it and stir it well . we get peanut butter to safe time.. people are often to busy or on the rush...
Not to be mean but there are some people who can’t wear deodorant. I’ve known people who couldn’t. My sister couldn’t before she passed. The deodorant would clog her arm pit pores and she would have these major abscesses that would be deep and we would have to pack because they were so bad. So unfortunately even though I do agree if you can wear it you most definitely should unfortunately not all people can!
Water is a better pallet cleanser in my opinion. The lemonade would taste weird after some of those foods and would alter the flavor of the next item. 🤔
I feel like the absolute worst sandwich to have on a plane would be a tuna sandwich - I once had someone eat one next to me on a bus, and I wanted to leave so badly, the smell was horrific. I've always been aware of the issue with peanut products though, my first school had an outright ban on nuts because of someone who was seriously allergic to them even in the air. The smell of steamed broccoli is the worst! I feel like other methods of cooking it might be better? I used to have a roommate who made steamed broccoli literally every single day and the apartment constantly stank of broccoli, so would defo hate to be on an airplane with that. On spilled drinks, I was once on a university class trip on a plane, and there was turbulence, the plane dropped down a bit suddenly, and one of my classmates spilled red wine on the ceiling, and on the girl in front of her - that definitely stained!
Once I asked the flight attendant to change my seat because the person in front was eating hard-boiled eggs and although someone asked him to put them away (and luckily he did) the smell was such that I couldn't be close. It is the worst smell to me, I prefer to sit next to a baby who needs a diaper changed...
For me it's more a question of common sense, consideration, politeness and concensus. With social behavior and communication you can travel a long and enjoyable way. Is it worth it to upset or get upset by smelly snacks/food? I think, the best would be to consume simple and hardly smelling items during travel. And have a good treat or meal of your choice once you arrive so you can enjoy. Thank you for trying/pointing this out. BTW, some airlines give suggestions which food items to take on the plane.
