Lmfao it's so funny that the cops try to help the situation but if they just moved into that drop-off/pickup lane, they easily would've cleared the jam
I’ve noticed NYPD officers are on their cellphones so much… not only is it unprofessional, but they are actually putting themselves at risk by not being aware of their surroundings. Ridiculous.
You mean there electronic memo book. There 911 app. Those are dept iPhone that have all the info apps on them. Officer are responsible to check for jobs on the phone. Update there location and do paper work. All the reports they need to take have to be done
@@karlkrikelis5933 I did not know about this, but it’s a very bad idea for a police officer to be distracted by an electronic device while in public. Different story if they are inside a parked vehicle, but while on the street they need to have their eyes up and focus on their surroundings. Key principle of self defense. That being said, I’ve seen multiple NYPD officers looking at social media on their phones while in public… so yea. 🤷🏻♂️
Sometimes I wonder how the services of NYC would even function during a city-wide disaster. I feel like The Division was actually accurate with depicting how thinly stretched and unprepared they all were when anything happens lmao
Fdny your service and time and efforts are deeply appreciated thanks to everyone who responds keep them safe out there job well done you should be proud love respect and appreciate you guys thanks great catch as usual ! Joe
Hope you don’t get run over by a car chase with paparazzi in downtown Manhattan! You never know when paranoid celebrities like the Duke and Duchess of Sussex try and outrun the paparazzi in stop and go traffic. Have fun and be safe!

What a dumbest way to clear crowd. Atleast move your vehicle to extreme side of the road if you are gonna park there. Isn't it an Obvious Rule of traffic management ?
In the 70's and 80's they would have just pushed them all out of the way. people knew that if they stopped in front of the fire engines they were going to get their car smashed to the side of the road. they moved on their own!! They NEED to start doing the same nowdays. the fire engines just need to keep moving, if people are stupid enough to not get out of the way then they need to be pushed out of the way by the Fire Engines. there is no excuses for people jamming up the road like this.
those cops just made it worse
Seriously. What was that about?
How?
@@gliderider7077 Cop car is blocking a lane, and in the beginning they are just sitting on their car.
They sure did
💯
Those officers need to move their suv out of the way, are they unaware of how they are blocking the way?
completely oblivious
Thats where they were Is instructed to park the car. They cannot block in the stupid bike lane.
Two bone idol lazy cops 🤷♂️

The bike lane?
@@JOHNJCLARK No, the drop off pick up lane next to the bike lane
How dare the FDNY make the police officer get of his cell phone!!!

A good start would be if those cops get off their phones and move the patrol car blocking that lane. JFC

And the police don't help... 😴
Cops really helped having their RMP in the middle of the street
The stupid cop car is blocking everything. 😂😂😂😂
new york could easily make an entire avenue for emergencies only
The cop car parked in the middle of the road was definitely a problem here…
i'll be on that street in 1 more month. It's been 7 years since my last visit.
Hope to get some more FDNY videos while I am out there.

"Can we cross here?" Yeah, don't worry about those firetrucks trying to get through! Lolz!
They could have moved that bloody police car blocking the way
EXCELLENT CATCH BROTHER!!! Also thanks for uploading it in 4K 👍🏻
And HDR, nice!
As usual cops do nothing.
Move the damn police suv would help and maybe FDNY should take the bike lane….
Make way Meghan and Prince Spare coming thru
Take down all those barricades and vehicles can get around better.
Get rid of the stupid bike lanes and bike parking
There's no where to go to get out of the way.
I’m saying the cops the ones blocking
Wow! The end is here.
And we're the cause.
2 hour car chase... in these streets? really now.

Down south the cops will lead the way for an ambulance or fire truck and will gladly run you off the road and or give you a failure to yield ticket.
Jesus f,... absolutely no respect for firepersonal.. If happend in Denmark, police would starte to plow the way and delegating tickets.

i take it you haven't done much urban driving....those drivers don't have many options with that level of congestion.
Did cops realizzze tey parked in middle of street and they caused traffic to block up? Shlould they have?
Wenn ich das schwarze Auto sehe, welches sich noch fix reindrängelt, und die Cops eigentlich gar nix machen, könnte ich kotzen
Nice catch I subscribed
Move the #$%&+* RMP and use the bike lane!
"can we cross here"🤓
Are NYC drivers really that ignorant? I’ll just let my fare out here along with their luggage. The building on fire isn’t important.
