I just built myself a similar system but I used double Groove pulleys so I have the option of going 4 to 1

The video doesn't show how to lift an heavy bike by yourself.

I just purchased the MRS and was hoping, from the sales blurb promising "... all the diagrams, tips, and methods needed for effective motorcycle recovery." that there would be some instructions. The major instruction is "don't use the product without personal professional instruction." This is not useful out of the box unless you already know what you are doing. In that case you probably already have the components.

It’s not self recovery if you can’t do it by yourself. You typically need one person on the rope, and one holding/walking the bike.
The Chris Birch method of using your rear hub to wind up the 8mm rope is much better as it makes your engine a high power winch, and one person can do it by themself. Of course, pretend adventurers with shaft drives can’t use this method.

this one i just found is pretty legit. 4:1 with you on the bike, 5:1 if you have someone to walk the bike for you. ruclips.net/video/2_mX2zaU0-s/видео.html
