    Amerikkka's Most Wanted should get a classic review, Cube in his prime going off over Bomb Squad production is one of the best things I've ever heard and I came to that album super late.

    i dont think being young means you cant relate to an album. i was born in 02 but still connect to tribe, digable planets, black star, gang starr, outkast, geto boys, big daddy kane etc etc etc.

    • @ADAJ3KINGANGEL
      @ADAJ3KINGANGEL 7 лет назад +6

      Amarna Mousa nice, but that's rare for someone your age.

    • @guerillawhite3083
      @guerillawhite3083 7 лет назад +13

      i know but i still dont think your age is an excuse for not being able to connect with music from the past

    • @Adrian9oh9
      @Adrian9oh9 7 лет назад +20

      ADAJ3
      It's not rare and it's not an age thing. You just have to be an open person and you'll connect to, relate to or understand everything to at least *some* degree.

    • @Mr_Archer15
      @Mr_Archer15 7 лет назад +22

      Amarna Mousa yeah but you'll never have the feeling that people had when their albums first dropped, seeing it on MTV, how it changed hip hop then etc

    You can see why Beezy became a beat maker from his talking at the 9 min mark. He talks about how his dad pointed out samples in the music which I'm sure peaked his young interest in sampling. Cool stuff.

    As an audiophile, I don't think this album sounds dated at all. In fact, this is one of those albums that you can test speakers with, like Steely Dan's Aja, the first Rage Against The Machine album, and Megadeth's Peace Sells But Who's Buying, and Miles Davis' Kind of Blue.

    Real shit, before this album the good in every city in America was totally ignored and an afterthought in general. No one gave a fuck and no one even wanted to think about the fact that they existed. When this shit dropped and was saying what actually happened in the hood on a massive scale it shook up the world. REALLY shook it. America has never been the same honestly.

    Just because it's from a different era doesn't mean it's dated, it's just a different sound.

    • @InFiiLtRaTor
      @InFiiLtRaTor 5 лет назад +2

      This is a redundant argument. By that logic, nothing can be dated. They're talking not only about production, but basic flows and rhyme schemes etc when compared to more modern music from the late 90's to now with multi syllable rhyming and double time flows with double entendre's etc.
