Can I not just be impressed with the melody and the sound of the bass line? I’m sorry but I probably won’t listen to Wooten in the near future, I generally prefer music that brings me some form of enjoyment, and I don’t particularly care about technical playing or fast lines, I just like whatever sounds good enough to alter my mood positively. I find value in listening to that baseline, so therefor its impressive to me.

That shits hard. Huge fan of playing piano and singing at the same time and even that can be really difficult if you’re not 100% focused and alert. Talking in complete sentences while keeping rhythm is a talent. Working rhythm down to muscle memory like that always impresses me 😂

When you are proficient in your instrument sometimes you cab easily play any song, I'm sure he didn't practice it more than 4 times, playing without looking at the strings is also pretty easy. All comes with experience.
