I’ve stayed there a couple of times. To not sound boorish. It’s ‘okay’ considering the price per night. Shangri-la, I felt was a little bit better. But we’re splitting hairs with hotels like these. L’Ecrin in Crillon is actually a pretty decent restaurant. My favorite is their lounge. They know our favorite table. And what we order every time we visit. Their gift shop is also fun. Filled with stuff you can’t really find elsewhere. Cheers.
I didn't like the renovation results, trying too hard and just ended up ugly, cold, no unified style direction. Italians always do it better and they always achieve effortless, lush look.
I just saw a documentary about the 5 star hotel in London Claridges and I thought there were several similarities between the two hotels. So beautiful and opulent, such grandeur. I love the history. I wish I could say one day I would like to visit it but what with all I'm hearing about cities are starting to rise up and protest of their hatred of tourists. Going so far as to shooting them when their outside eating their dinner, they were being shot at with water guns! Yelling at them tourists go home.
Hi Nancy! This climate of conflict and distrust that is spreading everywhere is regrettable. But we also have to assess whether we are going to allow ourselves to be "enslaved" by fear. I think we should be cautious, but without stopping living because of these angry people. Thank you for being here on the channel! Always welcome.
It's really a challenge to balance modern and classic in a place like this. It seems to me that the ancients had a higher artistic and architectural taste.
I love aritecture. Love seeing how rich lived. But the grotesque wealth versus the abject poverty even in France. If not for tge wealthy who used slaves and cheap labor. Child labor. The wealthy wouldn't have been able to have this.
Hello, welcome to the channel! Thank you for your comment, my friend. You touched on an important point. In my view, material wealth should always be accompanied by humility, gratitude and generosity towards those less fortunate.
Thank you for your feedback! Constructive criticism helps us improve. I will pay more attention to these observations in the next videos. Welcome to the channel!
Beautiful and classy!👏👏👏

The only hotel I stay at in Paris. Best location. Great staff. Great restaurant. Very comfortable rooms!
So are you trying to impress us?

GEEZ! It is a gorgeous hotel in the best location. I just wonder what one night might cost.
Ranges roughly from $1,550 per night to $52,000 per night
Interesting video, thank you.
Glad you enjoyed it. Thanks for the support!
@@SingularBusiness You're very welcome!
Regards from Monaco
Welcome! Monaco is an incredible place. An honor to have you here on the channel.
A place of morbid wealth. They use the poor to create this disgusting environment.
Close to the american embassy in Paris....
I saw Clint Eastwood some years ago there... he was waiting for a limo ....
Wow! Clint Eastwood is a cinema legend! You were in the right place at the right time. 🙂
Lol, disgusting how we value this over children dying of hunger

Are you serious? So forgive me for this mistake... sometimes the internet plays tricks on us. Thanks for letting me know!

Thank you for sharing your opinion. Do you have any suggestions for a topic for a video? Maybe some hotel, place or experience from Italy?
Thanks for your professional expertise. RUclips is so full of experts… 🙂
Does it have air conditioning? Do guests sleep in cardboard boxes? Do they serve meats?
😄

Lovely . . . but it's not the Ritz Paris, and I have been to each of them.
Very good! In your opinion, is the Ritz really the best in Paris?
💚
Welcome!
That modern furniture and decor is not fitting and horrible!

Karl Lagerfeld renovated worn out furniture
Totally agree with you, "they "&@ck$#" it up", just like the once grandiose Raffles Hotel in Singapore, sad indeed.
the gym is too small; wish they had kept Les Ambassadeurs Restaurant in the ballroom rather than use the space now for a bar
Thanks for sharing your impressions. I haven't had the opportunity to visit the hotel in person yet.
Oh poor disgusting wealthy.
