- we are packing up for a trip to the Smokey Mountains with a tent . we have no real plans laid out we are just winging it.

The duck in the intro cracked me up! Enjoy the trip (and the cool!) I love the sped up tent assembly :) I don't know why, but it's just funny to watch... Especially Brody hammering in the pegs :)

I remember when we would go camping/traveling... back in the day. Between me, Sharon, and the four kids... Barnum & Bailey's Circus had nothing on us! Ha, ha, ha, ha, ha! Ah... memories, memories! Going to be a great place for you guys to go. Brodie is going to love it, I'm sure of that. I've been there twice in my life, and I loved it. The mountains are great, and today I'm sure there is a whole lot more to do than when I last went. Be Safe, and God Bless!

Ya'll have a blessed camping trip, and safe travels. Quick fix with that broken pole, peice of and old fishing rod and a couple brass spent shells cut to fit. Anyway ya'll have a great time making memories.

I live in Cosby and the weather is supposed to be cooling off some so you might want to have some clothes for nightime temps. We will probably be in the low 60's.
I love how Brodie is so helpful! We used to take our kids camping and always had a wonderful time. I know you are going to have a wonderful time regardless. Love how you always make do with whatever you got. That’s the story of my life lol. Part of the fun of camping is the preparation and planning. Make lots of videos so we can enjoy the trip remotely with you.

You definitely need to ride through Cades Cove. You will see deer possibly turkeys n bear. If you run that spare pole under ur rain sheet it may hold it up better may not?

I love camping with my grandson he loves fishing and hunting I would love to live off grid I live in the city but I'm trying to get out of the city
We would rather camp than get a motel room too . Its an ordeal loading all the extra gear but it's better and cheaper. Deep Creek State Park in Bryson City is nice but no power, if your around Almond we like Turkey Creek Campground. It has a nice easy trail to Fontana Lake, very beautiful place. We're going back up in December. Drive safely and AVOID ATLANTA!
most important part of camping is how you pack before you go. you seem to know this lol sure would be bad if yall just happened to make it to jackson county alabama for some sightseeing and fishing..... wink wink lmao
