People always try to compare The Jukebox to The 100 and you really can't compare the two. The Jukebox has their own style and The 100 have their own style and the great thing about it, is that neither band deviates from the core style when facing one another. SU is a Top 40 show band when a powerful sound and great drills. FAMU has a symphonic sound, great clarity and their on field drills are more animations. Bottom Line is both bands are great and both built by HBCU Bands Legends in Doc Gregg's and Dr. William Foster.
Well said these 2 are my favorite band styles, it's the one band I respect because like the 100, they always come ready to play 1st, and I feel a real band wants to out play anybody! I love every tune each band played and had respect on it!
Good to see someone in the front play consistently and hold it down while doing so. Haven’t saw this since Ghetto 2011. Actually putting air in the horn! The Whales are back, not as aggressive as Whales of the past but on their way.
This is not the best arrangement of Skin I'm I... Southern and NC A&T have killer versions. It's a little empty. Missing parts of the main and counter melody that everybody is used to hearing.
