Haha i don't like cows or bullocks and i don't think they like me either 😂...Good to see ya back out with the Apex and its doing the bizz for sure that was a awesome vicky silver 👌👍😀...i am back from Italy now sunning up now i am freezing lol .....Stay cool Dawn and Kev chat soon 😀👍
On the bits of plates and things... every farm home had a place where they dumped all their ash from burning coal or wood to heat their homes. Any time a plate would get chipped or broken, it got tossed in the ash pit, so did empty and the rest of the household trash. Lots of people find these pits and dig them out to recover the glass bottles that were tossed out back then, as they are very desirable and collected now
I was just watching one of your older videos and thinking, “Man, I wish it was a weekend so that Digger Dawn would do a new video.” You get what you wish for!.....Thanks for the new vid! Have a good week. Greetings from Slovakia.
8:00, does look like a broken key. 8:25 is a lead puck ingot, either self made, or bought for making bullets. 11:40 is the spindle from a tap or gate valve, a big one. Bullocks are big softies.
I thought Kev liked the moo cows. It was the horses he had 'trouble' with...??? Anything bigger than I am, I just don't trust em out there. Once week they're friendly and just walk around you looking, the next week, they're chasing clear out of the county!! lolol Take care, Hello to Diggy! Get the woolies out, might need them early this year! 🍂🍁👍✌
Dig, show and tell day! I was on a walk year's ago drawing different monument's in our area and there's a style step whatever they're called next to Kepples Column, it was the end of the day so I decided to climb over them. I heard a great big RRRRRRRRRRRIP!!! The back pocket of my brand new jeans was hanging on a nail that was sticking out! My typical luck it was the pocket with my change in... There was long grass and weeds around the base... I'd spent the rest in a pub socialising with the locals trying to find out the history of the monuments (before days of Google). I was nettled and couldn't find enough of the change for my bus fair home! So had another 6 mile's home. No mobile phones back then to phone my wife for a lift! So start looking around the style's I can't be the only one that's been unlucky climbing over them!
Hi Dawn nice friendly cattle. All made of steak and covered in Leather. LOL You got some silver. The item at 13.40 is a large tap washer on its mount. The washer is leather and the mount is brass. It's made from other cattle that have long since gone. Don't tell the ones in the field. Common until the late 60s. then they went to nylon.
A great time slopping in the mud! Nice silver and goodies!! When you asked if the cows like crisps one said yes! Lol Thanks for sharing another great video👍🏻 TC Be safe and HH 🎧⛏
Well done you both I went out the other day saying I'm not worried about the cows but soon went over the gates when the hole lot came towards us keep safe and well hugs for Diggy great to laugh thanks ..
The pottery, glass and pipes usually comes from rubbish waste called black waste back in the day it was used to fertilise the fields or that’s what one of my farmers told me as I love his fields as there is so many interesting bits to pick up in between signals 😁
Hi Digger Dawn, Great video, Next time go detecting when rain is forecast. Apparently cows sit down before it rains, then you won't have a problem with them lol..😭😎👍
Lovely little silver, and some coppers too, that field is very promising, the cows are cute like big pets, but pretty scary too you are right to be wary
Very nice Digger Dawn hunting with the Garrett Apex and finding much of the same fantastic finds as you did with your other machine, who knows maybe this one will sniff out the Gold. Good luck
Nice bit of silver again Dawn, think there might be more hidden there somewhere. LOL those cattle meant you no harm just curious and maybe thinking you have something for them. Farmers often feed them with cake pellets to keep them healthy and strong. Take care and HH Tony
Why the pipe and dish pieces? Because farm labourers had to work hard at ploughing, sowing and especially harvesting before the tractor was invented. Took their meals wih them usually. Afterwards they'd have a smoke.
well what can I say you both looked well out of your wits with the cows but you both escaped unharmed so you both can save more history well done for getting another silver keep up the good work look forward to the next video thanks steve
I know I’m playing catch up on your channel but I got to tell ya something. I could have the worst lonely day but when I watch you, I have to laugh and in the end I feel better. So thanks for that. You and your digger dog. Did you say you could do with a good fork??? LOL I had to play that again because being American it sounded like beeep. 🤫
Oppressed by a load of bull...seems to be the story of 2020, roll on next year already! But on a positive note... You always make me smile, Dawn true English Rose.
Great vid Dawn mate. I take it you’re happy with the Vicky silver then!! 😂 Loved the cow footage!! Mr Moo-ey and his mates liked Kev didn’t they. 😂🤣 TK, GL&HH. Deano. 😃👍🏻
If a bull gives you grief grab the ring on his nose and twist it he can't do anything to you then. Just walk him to a gate then jump over. Nice little dig DD 👍👍👌👌😁x
Sweet silver! Congrats Dawn! Those cows 🐮 were very friendly, but I’m like you, I don’t trust those bulls! I’m afraid they are going to charge at me. Lol Happy Hunting! ~ Gypsy
Nice video, don't worry you have nothing to fear from those cattle, look like either Limousin or Lincoln Reds, tame as kittens even the bull, it's the black and white ones (Friesians) you need to be careful with.
Your videos really cheer us both up. A tonic! A question from a novice, why do you have so many different models of detector, Surely one will do the job ?
@@DiggerDawn I understand. It's the same with music synths for me. For now I have a pulsedive nokta scuba detector. Now don't laugh, but I am thinking of attaching a stick and using it like a normal full sized detector on land with the small coil that comes with it. It also doubles as a pointer so I have the best of both worlds (as well as using it underwater) I can carry it around in my bag and use handheld too but it does give you backache stooping. Not sure it has the depth of a normal detector but if it gets me a few coins I will be happy.
Most domestic cattle won’t charge you, but they are wondering if you’re going to feed them. You might have tried your silver dance on them. I like it best to the “Yakitty Sax” ( Benny Hill) music. Keep making your awesome videos.
You found everything that you wanted today, a silver coin, an old gate, and then the key to the gate, and then you got a nice slobery cow kiss on your hand. what more do you want? Your friend in the USA.
Ooooo mrs! You really make me giggle! Love your videos Dawn, im a manchester girl, from Sale Cheshire, but now living the dream in spain.. I was wondering what you teach? Your students must really enjoy your classes! Like your easy way of cooking too, did it taste like manchester tart?? (My favourite of all time school pud! I make it occasionally too. Anyway, was just a quickie, love watching you look for bits of history. (My g.gran had a farm near Rochdale before the war, pot oven farm, my mum lived there in 1947, that awful winter, didnt stop them walking through shoulder high snow, she was 12, to get to school every day! Stay safe Dawn much love chuck xx chez in lliria ,valencia, spain x
Oh! my goodness. Big tuff Dawn held hostage by a mob of sooky cows. Clap your hands and yell at them they will make way. Oh goodness me. LOL. Sad to watch.
Tell Kev not to be afraid of them cows they are just curious most of the time if you walk toward them the will leave just be sure to look under them and make sure they don't have any man berries !!!???
Those cows/bulls just hadn't seen seen such a beautiful lady in a very long time so they just wanted to say howdy... LOL... Thanks for the good laugh, LORD knows I needed it today. It's been a long and physically painful day... I love you, be blessed in Jesus name... BBE..
Basically no matter what detector you get they all give wrong signals so you get a ring pull or moo tube . Thats the way it goes as digga said you treat all signals with caution .ps i did,nt realise you like old things i,m 53 will that do digga ?hee hee
USA HERE Gosh I have missed you, it has taken me this long to find out RUclips is no longer sending out notifications, no longer do you need to ring the bell, but go ahead and do subscribe. I will keep trying to find you on my RUclips page. Lots of love from the US.

Another great video.. hopefully I can get out this weekend for a hunt. Keep up the good work!!
At 8.30 it is part of an old tap called a jumper , the orange piece is the old tap washer
Mr mooey, that’s hilarious! Great episode, the surprises are the best! Good luck on the next hunt!
Loved it! Well done on the silver, that was hilarious you and Kev stuck behind the gate to nowhere lol.
was you impressed with kevs nox weapon haha

Hi Digger Dawn,
Great video, Next time go detecting when rain is forecast. Apparently cows sit down before it rains, then you won't have a problem with them lol..😭😎👍
Very mooooving video! What a great hunt relics, money and silver all worth a the DD dance! Lovin’ it in Illinois USA, thanks Dawn
Lovely little silver, and some coppers too, that field is very promising, the cows are cute like big pets, but pretty scary too you are right to be wary
Another fantastic video and silver dance!
Nice finds Dawn
I enjoy every time that I see you you're funny and God bless you and your family and I'm glad you got your silver God will bless you again
Very nice Digger Dawn hunting with the Garrett Apex and finding much of the same fantastic finds as you did with your other machine, who knows maybe this one will sniff out the Gold. Good luck
I was laughing with the Bennie Hill Dance 💃 you cracked me up ty
Nice bit of silver again Dawn, think there might be more hidden there somewhere. LOL those cattle meant you no harm just curious and maybe thinking you have something for them. Farmers often feed them with cake pellets to keep them healthy and strong. Take care and HH Tony

convinced fly tipping has been in our human nature for generations, simple explanation for a great deal of the junk we find even broken pottery lol
well what can I say you both looked well out of your wits with the cows but you both escaped unharmed so you both can save more history well done for getting another silver keep up the good work look forward to the next video thanks steve

I get excited for you when you find silver or gold because I know your going to do your happy dance 👍🏼👍🏼
Does Kev do any finds dances,? A robot dance for when he finds iron eg 😂
so funny tht was off both ya lol
Just dug up a exploded 3 inch Hotchkiss artillery shell. Found it at a Civil War battle site in Tennessee, USA.
Oppressed by a load of bull...seems to be the story of 2020, roll on next year already!
But on a positive note... You always make me smile, Dawn true English Rose.
Great video ,
I would be wary of cows as well ,
Like artifacts like keys,
All the best from me and zep
Enjoyed that dawn ,I would have been over the gate as well cows and a bull unpredictable at best of times 😂..
I Tnink they fancied Kev's rollie lol. They seemed ok even mr bull quiet .Well done on the silver , Your always a good watch Dawn .
Thanks David
I’m laughing so hard I fell of my chair. Omg.
👍
Dawn got a six pence, a jolly, jolly six pence! LOL!
That is another type of key you can see the the bottom of the key where I used to go to where you wind something up
Night soil spread on fields also shoddy for soil improvement.
Great vid Dawn mate. I take it you’re happy with the Vicky silver then!! 😂 Loved the cow footage!! Mr Moo-ey and his mates liked Kev didn’t they. 😂🤣 TK, GL&HH. Deano. 😃👍🏻
nice hunt :-)
Which detector is better apex or at max? Thanks a lot)
The AT max is the best because its not in the ace range, but the apex is lighter and better on the beach
Make sure they don't step on ur coil and break it, oh wait, that was 🐎...🤣✌️😎
If a bull gives you grief grab the ring on his nose and twist it he can't do anything to you then. Just walk him to a gate then jump over. Nice little dig DD 👍👍👌👌😁x
Do they like crisps ? 🤣🤣🤣
Im still wondering haha
I'm new to the channel. Have you done a video explaining the treasure trove thing (?) Just been reading about it and am confused af.
I'm not a big fan of cows either! Great vid as always though
Sweet silver! Congrats Dawn! Those cows 🐮 were very friendly, but I’m like you, I don’t trust those bulls! I’m afraid they are going to charge at me. Lol Happy Hunting! ~ Gypsy
No vid? Have you not found nought ? 🤔
👊😊👊
Cracking video as always DD x love the silver jig😘😂🤣can't wait to get my hands on the Apex. TC SS GL&HH 😉
Nice
Nice video, don't worry you have nothing to fear from those cattle, look like either Limousin or Lincoln Reds, tame as kittens even the bull, it's the black and white ones (Friesians) you need to be careful with.
Oh thats good to know... they did seem quite loving and cute
Awww that was a short video, seemed an age since your last. Glad you getting use to your Apex, keep smiling x
It was only last Tuesday haha
Digger Dawn that's a whole 7 days ! Lol
🤣🤣🤣🤣
Your videos really cheer us both up. A tonic! A question from a novice, why do you have so many different models of detector, Surely one will do the job ?
you will find that a detectorist starts feeling the need to spend money on equipment. and this affliction gets worse the more you do it haha

A very old key that a good luck key
Old truck looks like a hay bailer.
I don’t do farm monsters!

I got a call yesterday that my apex is on its way to me
It looked like a petting zoo the cows wanted to eat or something
The apex fluctuates on a surface penny . Worrying .
mines a test machine its not the finished product
