Backstage tour of Pixar reveals how ‘Inside Out 2’ came to life

On The Red Carpet is taking viewers inside Pixar Animation Studios for a behind-the-scenes look at the making of the new film, “Inside Out 2,” now playing in theaters everywhere.
The sequel to the Oscar winning original “Inside Out” takes place several years later with the character “Riley” now a teenager which means new emotions like anxiety, envy, embarrassment and ennui.
In this full episode of “On The Red Carpet,” host George Pennacchio tours the usually closed-to-the-public Pixar Animation Studios to see firsthand some of the incredible animation technology used to bring the film to life. He also saw some of the very unique offices the Pixar animators have created for themselves including one designed to look like a witch’s hut! And he interviews the film’s all-star cast including Amy Poehler as “Joy” and Maya Hawke as “Anxiety.”

Loved all the emotional and silly moments in this movie that were relatable for adults too. So fun having the emotions animated over this video!! And it's awesome how some of the emotions look like their voice actors. Pixar blew it out of the water with this movie and the first one.

Man, I saw the film with my younger sister, Rose and our best friend, Alex on 6/15/2024, which was the day after the film came out, and omfg, it was beautiful, I laughed, I cried, I was shaking during the Anxiety Attack scene, I felt all the feels, and it really opened my eyes to my own struggles with Anxiety! It was definitely worth the 9-year wait!
