what a wonderful demonstration, I just love you because you keep it real, I am new to quilting and am learning a lot of new techniques watching your videos. Thanks so much for sharing.
I just happened to find you quite some time ago... I love how you explain everything. I'm a senior and have been sewing since I was an out 9. My mom taught us girls, but I didn't know about quilting. So thank you so much for bring a good teacher.🤗🤗❤. Never to old to learn.
Anisa, hello! My name is Anissa! Pronounced the same. I also am a crafty person. Must be in the name. 😉❤️ I will forever be a subscriber now. Great tutorial. Thank you! 💕💕💕
Anisa, good for you for showing real life and what can happen if a sewing machine is not cleaned on a regular basis when being used. Your block is so pretty. I am enjoying your tutorials.
Thank you for saying we do make mistakes. I’m new at quilting. I’ve never called my self a quilter but I do try to make quilts. I do love all your hints as it helps. Thank you again.
Looks like you were happy with that block. Your tail was really wagging behind you. 😂😂😂 That is a beautiful block. You do a great tutorial. Can't wait to see more. 😊
Hiya, is there a calculation for what size the squares need to be if say I wanted a 7.5" main middle square? I have to fussy cut a pattern which needs a 7.5" middle square - love this video thank you!
I love this block. I am not doing this block of the month but I want to do this block. But mine HAS to be a 6 1/2 inch center. How do I adjust the rest? I know that will make it a 12 inch square
Hi Im new to quilting...im trying to make this star, I'm not sure whats going on...lol...middle and sides are so nice then it looks like my top and bottom is too large?? Help
@@TheCraftyAuthor I’m sorry to bother you again but is the goal of the 12 blocks is to be able to assemble them together for my sampler quilt? I am brand new to quilting so I have no history I love your videos and am ever so grateful for your easy to follow well laid out videos. So I have done the first 3 blocks but they are all different sizes. I understand cutting them down so they will all be the same size but looking at them finished will that not disrupt the lovely patterns. Thank you for sharing your time and experience. Warm regards
Hi Pat- You are not bothering me. 😊 These are great questions. It should not alter the patterns in any way. Be sure to watch the whole series so that you can see the squaring up of blocks and also adding to them. As long as you continue with a 1/4” seam, everything should work out. 😊
@@TheCraftyAuthor I should have checked your blog lol. I see you actually pinto it that block 3 is smaller. I guess I had my man hat on....did the block then read the instructions. I’m have so much fun doing these blocks. Thank you so much for sharing your knowledge and time! Pat
