@@TartanCabbage 🙌🏻. Tbh Jay was never even on my radar as a wrestler on his own. After getting into Indy wrestling around 2016, I’ve always seen him as one of the best tag wrestlers ever. But now I see him as one of the top Indy guys of all time, especially now after watching these old promos and taking in how great he actually was as a singles act.

I love how Adam Cole says how Jay probably carries the belt around the house, then the next thing we see is Jay wearing the belt under his jacket. But this is another solid promo that really sells the match for me.

Jay had a gift for saying some of the most insane shit and making you believe every word of it. If you didn't believe what he was saying; you believed that he believed it and would beat you senseless if you said otherwise. The world lost a good one; never a question in my mind about that.
