    Thank you Crystal! I’ve been hoping for this tutorial for a long time. In the 1970s my gran made me an afghan in this stitch, and I’ve never quite been able to figure it out. Now, I’ll be able to make a companion to her piece… one of the most treasured family crocheted items I own.

      I agree with you on that @cg3862. She has inspired me so much i never could make wearables till i watched her channel abouth 8 years ago and have been watching her since. I can now make them and come up with my own patterns and style from learning from her.

    Crystal u are so talented, i watch all your videos you are my mentor I want to be good one day just like you. It can be very tedious in the learning phase trying to figure out your tension and also trying to figure out how to do a project. Lol i have literally unraveled everything i tried to do because i did something wrong, but I am not giving up.     I am definitely going to be doing this. I venture to my local goodwill bins a lot and always find scrap yarns that are not enough to do something with but enough to make a smaller project. I started leaving them behind but I think a fun 2024 blanket project like this would be great.

    I picked up some Caron marble cakes on deep discount (didn’t really care for the colors but they were too inexpensive to not pick up - I have a problem I know😂) then went to your channel to find a pattern that would elevate them. This is the perfect pattern and the softness and look is growing on me. Thanks for this design.

    Crystal, when you start each row with a single crochet in the first stitch (so your borders stay straight) does that change the multiples? If you didn’t do this, would the multiples be different? Love your channel!

    Hey Crystal, I love this stitch. How much longer do you make your chain to come out the right length? Because of the valley and the mountains I always end up shorter than I want the blanket to be on the side to side. Can you help me with that? Sincerely Janey

    Would we add the extra length to the chain or add it to the design, like lay out the chain and do the zigzag and measure out 12 inches and then count the chains that makes the 12 extra inches of width to the blanket?
